Meet Tiffany Katuls

We recently connected with Tiffany Katuls and have shared our conversation below.

Tiffany, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Building confidence and self-esteem took time and a lot of intentional work. I started by setting clear goals and holding myself accountable. Early on, I learned that confidence isn’t about being fearless, it’s about taking action despite fear.

For me, self-esteem grew as I recognized my own strengths and pushed through setbacks. I surrounded myself with people who believed in me, and I made a habit of learning from every experience, whether positive or challenging. Owning my story, knowing my worth, and understanding that every day brings an opportunity to learn and grow have been essential. Confidence is built step-by-step, by showing up, staying resilient, and not being afraid to stand strong in my own vision.

I also truly believe sports helped me with confidence growing up as it taught me to try again over and over again. That sort of resilience helps confidence more than I could express!

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My journey started in medicine, working as a Physician Assistant but as I grew, so did my ambitions. I took a leap into real estate and eventually built a portfolio of 15 homes, managing successful short-term and long-term rentals. This venture evolved into a property management company with a team of employees.

Real estate success gave me the freedom to transition out of medicine and invest my energy into growing Full Circle Home Loans, the company I co-own with my husband.

From there, I have been able to diversify into new businesses, including purchasing Squeeze Massage franchises, where I now own most of the Orange County territories.

Today, I manage over 35 employees, and it’s incredibly rewarding to support and inspire them, especially the women looking to make their mark in business.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

I cannot stress enough, how important it is to persevere. It’s very easy to quit when things get tough, but you have to keep pushing through.

I know it’s easier said than done but put in the hours. Work a normal job while you also grow a small business. Don’t put your entire life on hold, but make sure to work hard enough to elevate your goals so that you can own the most important thing when it matters most, time.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

Post-Covid, the work from home culture is strong. One thing I would say is challenging is trying to find employees who want to come in and work in a brick and mortar type setting.

Even finding weekend coverage for Squeeze Massage can be tough. Despite it being our busiest time.

I have really tried to create a work culture where people WANT to come to work to try and overcome that.
