Meet Christiana Annisa

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Christiana Annisa a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Christiana, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I developed my confidence & self esteem by first developing myself. To have confidence and self-esteem is more than being an outgoing person. To be confident is to walk in a room & know even though there’s 100 other pretty girls you’re also a pretty girl & that you should uplift everyone! I learned this at a very young age & took this philosophy into every aspect of my life which has brought me to where I am today. Do you think I became a nail artist by being scared and negatively comparing myself to others? Immediately no. I became a nail artist by deciding to make the conscious choice to be myself and share my creativity to everyone. I always give myself challenges and make it my duty to win, it’s only me versus me. I developed my confidence by creating the woman I know Christiana Annisa to be and being her day in and day out. By being disciplined, positive, and confident in my abilities I’ve became one of the best and I’m not stopping here. I continuously elevate myself and that is how I am able to have great self esteem and confidence.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I am a licensed nail artist specializing in luxury nail enhancements. The artistry of slaying nails is special to me because of the peace I feel while creating as well as the happiness I feel with a fresh full set! My clients love my freestyle nail art which makes every nail set exciting, it’s the element of surprise. I have a personal connection with each of my clients which makes my career not just drawing on nails but also connecting deeply with amazing ladies which I love. I create custom hand painted press on nails, I do travel service, I service public figures, and create educational nail content online for the ladies who aspire to be the best nail techs and people they can be! 1 on 1 mentorship with me is coming soon as well as day in my life vlogs of a business owner but for now follow my social medias and join he community!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The top 3 things that most impacted my journey are resilience, determination, & specialized knowledge. Each of these characteristics definitely fast tracked my growth and made Claws By Christi come alive! For anyone in their early stages of entrepreneurship or nail artistry start learning. In terms of learning yourself, learning your craft, and learning how entrepreneurship works. I personally never stop learning, I learn a new thing everyday, literally! I take my elevation seriously and so should you! Also, having a mentor, someone who has already done what you’re trying to do will for sure 10x your growth and get you where you want to be faster!

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

If you want to get somewhere fast go by yourself but if you want to get somewhere far go with someone, this saying is something I will always remember which is why I am expanding my brand and partnering with other amazing creatives, public figures, and of course nail artists.
