Meet Abigail Suazo Trauma Informed Hypnotherapist

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Abigail Suazo Trauma Informed Hypnotherapist. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Abigail Suazo, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

I find that so much of my life has been a calling into deepening the trust within myself. That is not an easy thing to do. Often we are met with shadows of doubt and fear when we try to step into surrender of trust and faith found within ourselves. It’s easy to latch on to and desire an external source to grant us this, but true purpose is birthed from within. No one and nothing can truly grant us this. Much of my journey has been asking me to go deeper within myself and learn the core of who I am and what I am here to share with my community and the collective expression.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m a trauma-informed therapist, soul guidance coach, and someone who is deeply passionate about supporting others in their healing journeys. At the core of my work is the belief that true transformation happens when we honor both the mind and the spirit. I help people heal from past trauma, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and step into the fullness of who they are. Through therapy, I create a compassionate space for individuals to explore their experiences and begin to release the patterns that no longer serve them. And through soul guidance coaching, I help people align with their higher selves, uncover their deepest truths, and live a life that feels authentic and purposeful.

One of the most exciting and special things about what I do is the way I get to see people reconnect with their soul’s true path. Healing, for me, is not just about processing past pain—it’s about rediscovering the power and potential that lies within all of us. I’m able to witness incredible transformations as my clients reconnect to their spiritual selves and realize they are capable of more than they ever imagined. There is something truly profound about guiding someone through that process and seeing them come into alignment with their highest good.

In addition to my therapy and coaching work, I’m also deeply committed to my role with a nonprofit that helps families who have experienced homelessness transition into their forever homes. Working with these families has shown me the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of building strong, supportive communities. I feel privileged to contribute to this work, knowing that it has a lasting impact on families who are creating new beginnings after a difficult chapter.

I’m also thrilled to announce that my book, *Stories from Cobblestone Roads*, is coming soon. This project is incredibly personal to me as it dives into my journey of spiritually awakening, healing ancestral wounds, and breaking free from generational patterns. The book is about the power of transformation and how we can rewrite the stories we’ve inherited. It’s been an incredibly healing process for me to write, and I’m excited to share it with others who may be on their own path of awakening and healing.

What I hope people take away from my work—whether through therapy, coaching, or my book—is the understanding that healing is not just a destination, but a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. We all have the ability to create a life that feels aligned with our deepest truth, and I’m here to support people in stepping into that. Whether you’re struggling with past trauma or simply seeking to live a more authentic, fulfilled life, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on that path.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back on my journey, I’d say the three most impactful qualities I’ve cultivated have been empathy, resilience, and spiritual awareness. Through my line of work and also my personal path of becoming, it’s been my ability to truly listen and understand where others are coming from has been crucial in my work. This has allowed me to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen and heard. It’s also been key in building deep, trusting relationships with people, both personally and professionally. For anyone early in their journey, I’d recommend actively practicing empathy—not just by listening, but by really feeling into what others are experiencing without judgment. The more we can open ourselves up to understanding others’ perspectives, the more we can connect and grow.

Life has a way of throwing challenges at us, and I’ve learned that resilience isn’t about avoiding hard times but about how we respond to them. Over the years, I’ve learned to bounce back from setbacks, both personally and professionally, and to see obstacles as opportunities for growth. For those who are starting out, I’d encourage them to embrace setbacks as part of the journey. Resilience is built through facing adversity with an open heart and mind, learning from what doesn’t work, and moving forward with faith that each step brings you closer to where you’re meant to be.

This journey has been so incredibly transformational, showing me the polarity of success and failure. Learning to trust in something bigger than myself has not only given me a sense of peace but has also guided me in my work. It’s been essential in helping me approach healing from a holistic, soul-level perspective, and it’s what keeps me grounded in the midst of life’s chaos.

My advice to anyone early in their journey would be to take time to explore connect with yourself—whether it’s through meditation, prayer, or simply connecting with nature. Trust yourself. Trust that everything that is happening is happening with purpose. It is not a punishment from some grand cosmic being, it’s an experience. A wonderful one at that.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

One of the books that has had the most profound impact on my journey is *The Gene Keys* by Richard Rudd. It has been a transformative guide for me, offering deep insights into the nature of human potential, healing, and spiritual awakening. What I love about *The Gene Keys* is how it weaves together the wisdom of ancient teachings with modern-day understanding, offering a way to navigate our lives with more clarity and purpose. The teachings in the book help you recognize the hidden gifts in your challenges and show you how to embrace your unique blueprint for growth.

Through Rudd’s teachings, I’ve come to understand the importance of embracing both our shadows and our light. It’s not about striving for perfection, but about accepting and transforming the parts of ourselves that need healing. This has profoundly shaped how I approach both my own healing and the work I do with others—understanding that we all have unique paths and that growth often comes from embracing the full spectrum of who we are.

For anyone on a journey of self-discovery or healing, I highly recommend diving into it. It offers a deep and soulful exploration of who we are at our core and encourages us to embrace our true essence with love and acceptance. It’s a guide that invites you to see yourself, and the world, through a more compassionate and expansive lens.
