We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Pedro Rosado a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Pedro , we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?
Where do I get my resilience from? I would have to say from my kids and small village of family. Seeing my daughter at the age of 5 battling cancer up until she became cancer free. During that time my son stepped up as well to help with his little sister. Then in moments that I feel like I’m defeated I have my wife and very close friends that reminds me the word “defeated” isnt in my nature.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I’m originally born and raised in Philadelphia. I moved to Las Vegas for a fresh start in life. Music came into my life in 2017. From there it’s been a passion of mine. I’ve had the honor of working with two of my favorite musicians growing up “Freeway” & “Jadakiss”. I created “The Last Rose Ent” for those who have given there all and only have one chance left in life or once chance left with love. Which we will be creating a new clothing brand in where the a percentage will be donated to single mothers to help with living, food and etc.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Loyalty, passionate and loving.
My advice would be true to yourself. Also to never allow time to control you. Once you allow time to control you then you’re no longer truly living life for yourself.
Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?
My wife and Mike Bunch have been my biggest blessing. They both keep me leveled. When I try to move fast they slow me down so I can see the clear picture. They both make sure everything I do is what’s best for me. They’ve helped me think things through before jumping right into things. I wouldn’t be where I am at without them.
