Meet Alisha Small

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Alisha Small. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alisha , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
My confidence and self-esteem developed over time. I started with very low self-esteem from issues such as my weight, worthiness, and imposter syndrome. My journey to rediscover myself started about 15 -16 years ago when I became a mother. It has been a rocky uphill battle. I think the biggest contributor to strengthening my self-esteem was my ability to get up and keep going after so many losses. After a while, my mindset went from I can’t do this to I am doing this! If I survived everything I’ve been through I could do anything. I maintain my growth and development with intentional self-care. I am very intentional about strengthening my self-awareness. The more I know about myself the more I can continue to heal, grow, and be the best version of myself for my family and community.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am a certified life coach and the founder of Living Fulfilled Coaching & Consulting. At Living Fulfilled Coaching, I partner with millennial women to become the healthiest versions of themselves through prioritizing and incorporating self-care habits and routines that promote a joy-filled lifestyle. I serve as a thought partner who uses a creative coaching approach to maximize potential in all areas of my clients’ lives. In addition to coaching over the past two years, I have worked with many organizations to teach men, women, and children to use self-care intentionally as a way to balance the duties of everyday life whilst ensuring their needs are being actively met, with my highly rated workshop “Achieving total wellness with intentional self-care.

Right now I am actively working on the re-release of my brand Living Fulfilled Company formerly known as Keyz Kloset which will provide clothing, journals, and home decor. My nonprofit organization Gloria’s House is also set to open this year.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I believe the three most important qualities you must have along your journey to wellness, and self-discovery are resilience, discipline, and patience. Becoming the best version of yourself doesn’t happen overnight, it’s a lifelong process. The road isn’t easy but it’s worth taking. If you have the guts to stay the course, take small consistent towards your goals, and give yourself grace along the process I can promise you will see remarkable results. Every day won’t be a good day, and there may be times when you may want to give up due to external circumstances. This is when you have to be extremely disciplined and patient. Find peace of mind knowing that it’s not a matter of if things will work, it’s a matter of when things will work out for your greater good!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I would love to partner with people who are passionate about the health, wellness, empowerment, and advancement of women and girls.

I would also love to partner with nonprofits, schools, businesses, and organizations that would like to present a fun, interactive, informative workshop that can teach their clients, staff, and students about the amazing benefits of self-care.
