Meet Noderlin Vivas

We recently connected with Noderlin Vivas and have shared our conversation below.

Noderlin, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

For me, being resilient is a mix of faith and courage. I think it comes as a personal decision to not just let go of my inner power and not recognize it. It’s about honoring the unique and wonderful souls we are, admiring the creation that resides within. And of course, it doesn’t mean that we cannot feel sad or tired sometimes, but it’s all about seeing challenges exactly as they are: challenges. I come from a country where I’ve had to learn that over and over again in so many different ways. Situations in life are meant to show us things, to move us and transform our lives, to make us grow up and develop ourselves. Everything else is just in our minds. I think that the key is to open our arms to change and integrate it as the only constant thing in our life.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

In my CV, you can read that I am an entertainment producer with over a decade of involvement in live projects, scenic arts, radio and TV productions and promotional events.

But if you ask me, I will tell you that I am passionate about creating live experiences to impact people in a positive way. I truly believe in the power of moments when people are open to paying attention, being vulnerable, or just connecting with others. It is magical, and I’ve known from experience that you can even change someone’s life if you combine the elements well. It’s simply beautiful.

I knew about live arts since I was a little child when I started doing my own “concerts” in front of my family in the living room at home with my mom’s clothes. I decided to prepare as a talent (singer and actress), and when I grew up, I started to look at it as a business. I got my Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV) and immediately founded my first production company called “Entarimaos Producciones” in Caracas, Venezuela.

Over the years, I’ve started to work by myself, with my own brand “Noder,” and I’ve also started to create content on social media related to live shows. I’ve created some courses too and opened some spaces to talk about the life of artists with the mission to improve their lives. Currently, I work as a booking agent for Venezuelan talents.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Optimism: It is about abandoning the “victim mode” and empowering yourself by always expecting the best possible result in every situation. It’s the decision to trust in the universe, God, or whatever you want to call it, because the possibilities are infinite, and just the fact that you exist proves it.

Leadership: Take charge of yourself and your decisions, and don’t be afraid to try new things with others. They are waiting for it more than you believe, and when you lead, you help others to do it too. Leadership, for me, is about freedom if you look at it in detail.

Planning: It is an act of respect for yourself, your humanity, and the others around you. When you plan, you organize your ideas, manage the time, and the available resources for everyone. Please, please, please, take the time you really (REALLY) need to do things. It’s better to have more time than to be aggressive with yourself with unrealistic deadlines. Remember my words, and you will thank me!

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

I love to create projects with people who want to work for a better world through performing arts and live experiences, especially with those who want to improve the cultural industry in this fast-changing world. We need to define a lot of things, incorporate technology and creating healthy work environments.
