Hi Yulia, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

Confidence and self-esteem? Oh my God, these are two things I always emphasize! They’re so important for living your best life. Let me be honest—by the time I turned 20, I realized that confidence is the key to achieving any goal I set.

Confidence helps you feel good about yourself, step out of your comfort zone, present yourself effectively, and stay focused on your goals. At that age, it became crystal clear that building my self-esteem was the first step to moving forward in life without unnecessary complications.

The moment I understood that I’m the best version of myself for me, everything got so much easier!

I’m Yulia Fadeeva-Hashem, a New York City-based influencer passionate about beauty, fashion, art, and lifestyle. I connect with my audience through TikTok and Instagram, sharing beauty tips, product reviews, and creative inspiration.

What sets me apart is my focus on empowering confidence and self-expression while collaborating with top beauty brands. From exclusive product launches to sharing my favorite spots in the city, I love blending authenticity with creativity to inspire my community.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are creativity, consistency, and authenticity. Creativity allows me to express myself and stand out by experimenting with new ideas. Consistency has been crucial for building momentum and staying focused, even during slower moments. Authenticity is the foundation – it’s what connects me to my audience and makes my work meaningful. My advice? Embrace your individuality, show up consistently, and trust that being true to yourself will always set you apart.

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?

One challenge I face is how quickly everything evolves in this industry. Every day feels like a new beginning, where I’m constantly stepping out of my comfort zone to create fresh ideas and keep up with trends. It’s exciting and keeps me on my toes, but it can also get overwhelming at times. Finding a balance between staying creative and navigating the fast pace is something I’m always working on.
