We were lucky to catch up with Francesca Sun recently and have shared our conversation below.
Francesca , we are so happy that our community is going to have a chance to learn more about you, your story and hopefully even take in some of the lessons you’ve learned along the way. Let’s start with self-care – what do you do for self-care and has it had any impact on your effectiveness?
I think self-care is of vital importance to absolutely every human on the planet. Many many moons ago, in a galaxy far far away (just kidding on that second part!), the following core concepts about self-care became abundantly clear to me:
1) If I don’t take care of me, who will? It’s my responsibility and quite honestly I view it more as an honor and necessity these days. Nobody buys a plant and doesn’t water it, not put in the correct sun spot, or not give it food. So, why would I not nourish myself?
2) If I am helping others cultivate deeper levels of self-love and compassion and I’m not taking care of myself, I have nothing to teach them and can’t model it to them. I would be an ineffective coach at minimum. Self- care is the physical action of self-love.
3) A person can’t give from an empty cup. You need to fill your cup and self-care is one way that we do that. Self-care can take different forms for different people. It can be as simple as a bubble bath or a hike in nature or a night off from technology. Whatever it is that allows a person to recharge their batteries and get back to the grounded and whole feeling. It doesn’t have to be complicated and the action of a person taking care of themself is a self-full and not selfish act.
As far as my own self-care is concerned, I make sure to do a short meditation in the morning on my patio. My morning and evening routines are really what give me peace and are nonnegotiable as far as self-care. My morning routine gets me prepped for the day and makes me more effective. My evening routine helps me unwind and get relaxed so that (fingers crossed) I can get some good deep sleep. Waking up feeling refreshed and ready for the day ahead is key in my being able to be effective throughout the day. I’ve found that if I am tired and haven’t meditated and gotten centered in the morning, then it takes me longer to complete tasks and I can be foggy. However, we are human and do have days like that and I just remind myself that tomorrow is a new day.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I employ an innovative, energetic approach that I have refined over the past 20 years. My methods focus on removing the energetic blocks that prevent individuals from magnetizing their perfect vibrational match. By addressing these challenges from their root causes, clients are able to clear obstacles that have been holding them back from experiencing fulfilling and harmonious relationships.

I also provide wisdom, tips, and strategies that support men and women on their journey to love, ensuring they no longer have to endure the discouragement and frustration of endless swiping on dating apps.
My expertise lies in my ability to identify the root challenges behind relationship issues, empowering clients to shift and transform these issues with ease and grace. This process not only enhances their romantic lives but also fosters greater awareness and growth in all areas of their lives and relationships. With my guidance, clients learn to stop pushing away or blocking love, and instead, easily attract the most perfect vibrational match.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I would say trust, resilience, and passion. Starting your own business can seem very scary in the beginning. Obviously, you want to consult with an attorney to ensure that you have all the correct paperwork and such as well as any licenses or training you need, but the three qualities I mentioned above are also necessary. Trust yourself and have a mentor or someone else you can trust to bounce ideas off, etc. Always trust your gut and no matter how frightening or out there an idea you have may seem, feel into what it would feel like if you pulled it off. If it doesn’t feel exhilarating, then it may not be worth pursuing. Resilience. You may have to pivot from what you originally started – and that is absolutely perfect. It may be a slower grow than what you had expected. That is absolutely perfect too. Your timing is your timing and you shouldn’t compare your journey to someone else’s. Lastly passion is a core pillar to everything (in my opinion lol). If even on the toughest day, what you are doing doesn’t light you up, then it may be time to pivot. Actually trust, resilience, and passion seem like good qualities to cultivate in general for an amazing life.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?
Love this question! I am extremely fortunate to currently work with some superb folks. I’ve also had magnificent clients in the past. The ideal client for me is someone who is first and foremost ready, open to shifting, and desires change. They also are courageous as it takes great courage to let go of outdated patterns or beliefs and create a new way of being. Most of my current and previous clients all valued either or both peace and joy, which means that they have those qualities deep in their core. Could this be you?
