Meet Kristy Katalina Gomez

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Kristy Katalina Gomez. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Kristy Katalina , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I think my resiliency comes from having faith in me! I have faith in God’s plan. I battle myself more than ever, but I learn to let go of the ego as I get older. I just want to follow my dream more. Yes I struggle with ptsd from my childhood and from recent bad relationships, however I choose to give myself another chance after fighting my own demons. I learned to give it to the King himself. The Big Dawg. God. I am not religious. I am spiritual. I am who he is. I am connected and he speaks to you in energy and frequency. He shows you and teaches you. I feel it’s all about your heart. Love is the biggest frequency. Love for all of us.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Im a radio personality with a big dream. The exciting part of my career is that I can be my own self. No gimmicks no mask. Just me myself and I. I want to connect to people through truth and compassion with some spice. Im currently working on the rebranding of my show. Café Kata is a wake, bake, and taste morning music show. Where I interview musicians and other entertainers with some sip and stir questions along with product tasting of some delicious pastries with a cup of joe, and funny vibrational conversations.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The first knowledge I learned would be the study of fasting which was incredibly difficult. However it help with detoxification within my body. Number two would be sun and moon meditations. It relaxes my overthinking. Three would be, I can’t waste my degree. My passion for radio hosting with music and frequency helps me as well. Lastly I learned to take any pain and trauma from my past and transmute it to my art onto canvas.

Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?

I have a few challenges. One is myself. I am my own competition. Two, show production. I have to fund my own production and try to get more sponsors. I have one product sponsor @HeavysBerry. Shout out Heavy Lyrics and US Studios for showing love for the show.
Im currently seeking a bakery and show sponsorship.

Question : If you had a decade left what would you do?

I would be definitely doing the bucket list.
Year one, publish more books. Push my art more and be added to a gala for one of my pieces. Year two interviews Redman, Denzel Washington, Karol G, Sade and Queen Latifah. And guest announce at the grammys music awards. Year three and four, a retreat to practice Buddhism. Year five. I would like to help rebuild Palestine and give back to the Palestinians. Year six would definitely be a year-long vacation with my family. Year seven definitely would be to marry my best friend and elope. Year eight and nine would be my devotion to God and my new marriage. Would like to cook and give back to my community. Year ten is my goodbye with love. Throw a big family reunion, to say goodbye, then paint, play games and eat with my family and friends.
