Meet Stacey Lynelle

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Stacey Lynelle a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Stacey , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I have to say, my confidence and self-esteem developed while experiencing difficulties in my life. I think many would say they were brought up thinking well of themselves or their family instilled self-love and pride in who they are and what they do. I honestly can’t say that. Even though, I grew up in the church, Christianity was very much practiced but only to a certain extent. I realized later on in my life, my family was very narcissistic and lacked self-love and confidence in themselves, their talents and abilities, and in-turn made me also feel I was unworthy of things and being elevated. They trulywere the type of family which did things sheer out of tradition and to “keep up with the Joneses”.

I was bullied by family, I’m a survivor of child-molestation, and domestic violence, as well as sexual assault, so-called friends bullied me as well. I didn’t realize it was because I was different, and didn’t share the same heart and mind as those around me.

Being a survivor of my childhood, teenage years and young adulthood after all the abuse and trauma, as I began to heal, I was able to realize my worth as a person and what I had accomplished even with my flaws and faults that were constantly pointed out by those around me.

After separating myself from the family I was born into, this is when I was able to further develop an understanding of who I was which enabled me to gain confidence and self-esteem. I started to be able to hear my inner voice, that helped me to see all that I’d been through the average person would not be here today to tell the story but God saw fit that I use my own experiences to help those who like myself have been through narcissistic abuse and traumas to heal and really be able to see myself for who I really am and what guidance and testimony I can offer those who never felt seen or heard.

I believe if I had not separated when I did, I would still be experiencing the abuse emotionally and mentally.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Discipline, Integrity and Empathy

Get around others who exemplify the characteristics listed above and remember to always take a little with you from each lesson you learn and grow from it.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am always looking for different business partners and Ideas to spark more interest in the healing community.

Definitely looking to work with artists and illustrators- I have some things in the works in the background and want to find individuals who illustrate or would like to illustrate for books and pictures.

Also fashion designers- people who are open to working with a producer that sees the goal but needs designers

Also yoga teachers, gardeners, teachers, reiki healers, herbalist, vegetarian and vegan nutritionists- I would love to connect with for the expansion of my current an d future endeavors.
