Hi VECHENKO, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

Well I develop my confidence in Secondary school. I went Malick Secondary Comprehensive School and i was in form four where I discovered that I had a talent in beatbox and a lot of students were festinated by the my skill that everyone believe I would be a superstar one day. I would always try to perfect it everyday and then my other friends would Changallge me to other skills like singing and rapping I would Try and learn and show it off to my friends. i alway like to prove myself and others that i can do it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I the Founder and CEO of Chenko Production, My musical journey has been one of
relentless ambition and creativity, evolving from various industry roles to teaching music
production at N.E.S.C. before courageously launching my own company. For over seven
years, I dedicated to my passion for music, building an impressive career that
blends production, artistry, and entrepreneurship.

In addition I have producer for artists such as Militant,MrNicevibes, Terry Seales, Rocky 868,
and collaborations with icons like David Rudder and Yung Bredda, The talents I have
expanded to include screen production with director Ancil Harris of GT Network and
creating radio ads for major brands like Burger King, Popeyes, and Little Caesars. Now
fully embracing my role as a soca artist, he’s added a range of soca hits to my repertoire,
including Twerk on the “We Pumpin’ Riddim,” Bounce That on the “Party Ras Riddim,”
Cookie and Tek Jam on the “Tek Jab Riddim,” Want To Know on the “4-3-2-1 Riddim,” and
Drunken Bad on the “Collapse Riddim.”

With Greater Dan Dem, I offers an anthem of resilience and self-belief. The song’s
message of aiming to be greater than yesterday and overcoming adversity resonates
strongly with my own story, while the Jam & Move Riddim amplifies the track’s vibrant
energy. This song not only embodies My drive to elevate soca but also reflects my
mission to bring the genre to the global stage.

As Drunkin Bad reverberates through speakers, fetes, and festivals, I
continues my journey toward global recognition, with no limit to how far I plans to take
soca music.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

My three most Qualities as person is Patience, Consistency and Happiness.
these are the three things I stand by.
Being Patience means always be ready but when is your time you would be unstoppable.
Being Consistence means you would fail at first but then when you understand what you are doing you would be successful.
