Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jayime Jean. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jayime, thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.
I trust my souls feelings I usually get a nudge suggesting someone’s needing something they’re lacking and if I have it, I offer it or sometimes I just see somebody doing something that feels like it’s the right thing to do for humanity and before you know it I’m guided to Offer a piece of art a donation my time of service I think generosity comes from the alignment of being open to feel . You can look at someone and feel what they need
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Well, I am now beyond the neon moon excited to share I’ve been getting the calling to share my art in Las Vegas it’s a city that I’ve always loved in cherish and I go at least once every couple months to stay at my favorite hotels my family get away staycation of sorts, i’ve been getting the calling and the feeling that the arts industry is going to be experiencing a grand rise and sharing their visions and stories and I found a Home for Artist Beyond , myself & my beautiful grandson Monroe’s new showroom/Gallery. I’ll be sharing my own art and curating collective shows helping other share their visions as well. The grand opening is December 6, 2024 at the arts factory suite number 230 there’s an amazing 13 artist from all over Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, sharing their Hues , looking forward to offer a sacred place to share and grow in the beautiful art community . There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
It might sound cliché, but you have to believe in yourself be careful with allowing other energies around you to influence with your heart and soul or guiding you towards especially in art . We are vulnerable as it is and when were developing creating getting ideas before we start a piece and we share our ideas I have found it personally to share after to avoid those energies to turn me in the wrong direction of my path and mostly of course, without that intention however we’re open to receive the ideas and inspiration we are vulnerable more vulnerable , and we honor ourselves when we listen to ourselves and trust the process, I believe gifts are given, and we have to honor them as gifts and respect them by respecting ourselves and honoring ourselves
Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?
You know, For some reason, this question is making me feel teary-eyed Inspiration comes from so many places Music sounds memories. You name it when it comes down to a who, that’s been helpful, Well to be honest I’m gonna have to say the divine and my grandson Monroe, who is now nine, but he doesn’t know it that he’s my hero. And I’m gonna say myself, I haven’t had the most cherished memories from childhood to look back on. I did a lot of things for myself very young throughout my younger years I never really gave myself credit for any of the sacrifices any of the strength that I have shown myself in times hardships, the compassion I’ve given to others even if they didn’t deserve it. I knew it was the right thing to do. I’m a very empathic person and I’m a very deeply feeling person. I get attacked energetically very easily however, this past year with my recent brain surgery I have found the strength and the courage From a recent & heartbreaking disappointment to allow myself to see myself to love myself to value myself and honor myself and that’s something that I found hard to do, but I should’ve done it a long time ago . So yes, the divine greatly, my beautiful grandson truly , and myself , I’ve helped myself get to where I can stand even when I feel like falling mostly
