We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Latisha (tisha) Wells. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with LaTisha (Tisha) below.
Hi LaTisha (Tisha), thank you so much for opening up with us about some important, but sometimes personal topics. One that really matters to us is overcoming Imposter Syndrome because we’ve seen how so many people are held back in life because of this and so we’d really appreciate hearing about how you overcame Imposter Syndrome.
How I overcame Imposter Syndrome, I had realized that I first was a daughter of the king, and realizing that he independently and uniquely made me different from everyone else. It was brought to my attention that I was gifted and talented like those that I admired, and just like them I could flourish as well. . Overcoming Imposter Syndrome was difficult for me in the beginning of my career, and becoming an entrepreneur. I’d always thought to myself, that if I was to act like this person and copy their style, I would then become who they are. Believe me when I say, the conviction was never friendly and was very reassuring of this mistake that I purposely wanted to make. I’ve always thought that I didn’t have anything to contribute, and it would be easy to copy someone else, and not go through the hassle of having to think for myself.
But overcoming imposter syndrome was the best decision that I have ever made this far, and overcoming such a depressing emotional battle, has brought me beauty for my ashes that I had stored away for years. The feedback that I receive just from me being my authentic self within my craft, has brought me so much peace, joy and happiness. My testimony alone, brings so much confirmation that being someone else, will set me back, and stagnation would settle on my path to keep me away from the version of this woman that I am today.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
My truest passion is always serving my Lord Jesus Christ and being an elegant submissive woman, while doing so. I have a ministry/community called “The Modern Day 31” where I love to talk about Jesus, Femininity and Etiquette on all of my social media platforms, modesty, fashion, marriage, motherhood and relationships as well. Why talking about Christian etiquette is so exciting and dear to my heart is because, I am constantly reminded of the women in the Bible and how elegant in serving the Lord they were.
My top favorite women in the Bible are ‘Ruth, Naomi, Esther and Deborah’. I am always driven by their impact upon women and the legacy that has left grace upon our path as of today. In today’s societies we have lost that feminine attribute within ourselves, so that’s where “The Modern Day 31” comes into play in these circumstances. I highly believe that my assignment here on earth is cultivating femininity back to the mind of women, and train up other women to walk in their God given authority, before the return of Jesus Christ.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
What was most impactful in this journey so far was the influence that I admire early on in this journey. There are people in my life that I admire, respect and glean from, I trust these individuals on their paths so much, that I allow these individuals to help me grow on my path. Having such influences in my life, I was able to become who I am in this life, Yes I’ve always known that I could grow but I never had that push to greatness like I have now. Another best advice that I have was becoming healed of my trauma and self worthlessness. You can’t move forward with weight on your back, and do what God has for you here on earth. I became healed so that I can live in peace and happiness, develop a prayer life, and be open to learning, so that you can develop what you need to prosper.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I am always willing to welcome anyone that is familiar with Biblical Femininity, and are respectful of femininity’s true definition, of what femininity actually represents. Within ‘The Modern Day 31’ we are very heavy on restoring feminine etiquette back in the church, especially within us ladies that desire to be more feminine. So I invite people unto the platform to speak on topics that relate to being a woman, a Christian woman that represents Jesus through elegance, poise, modesty and Biblical truths.
We look for individuals who are;
~Christian Etiquette Coaches
~Christians
~Individuals that can maintain conversations without using profanity
~People that are Christian
~Individuals that don’t mind prayer and talking about Jesus
So, if that’s you we can certainly schedule an interview to learn more about you and your business, brand and your background. But I can definitely with anyone with any type of background, I don’t judge whatsoever.
