Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Morgan Tracy J.. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Morgan Tracy, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Honestly, I still struggle with confidence and self-esteem. I’ve learned over the years, that it shouldn’t stop me from showing up, I can keep showing up and trying toward my dreams. I can’t wait to be the finished product to show up for my dreams and goals, I can embrace the journey and watch myself blossom into that person
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
In 2016, I had the idea to start showing up consistently on YouTube—not just playing around with it, but truly committing to it. That’s when I came up with the concept for a *Morning Coffee* segment on my channel, and the rest is history. Today, I’m grateful to have over 100,000 subscribers. For the next three years, I uploaded videos every Monday under that segment, and it became a game-changer. I watched as God grew my audience, expanded my influence, and inspired me with new ideas. That’s when I realized I had stepped into something truly beautiful.
Today, I’m also the founder of a non-profit women’s ministry called *His Daughter’s Closet*, where we empower women and youth through the Word of God, outreach projects, and more. I’m so thankful for everything that’s come from this journey.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
During my undergrad years, I earned a degree in Biology, and for a long time, I felt like I wasn’t really using it. But over time, I realized that college gave me much more than just academic knowledge. It helped me become a confident speaker, taught me how to research and study effectively, and deepened my appreciation for life and its beauty. The tenacity I developed in college became the foundation for so much of what I do now. It helped me learn key skills like editing, graphic design, public speaking, social media marketing, web design, and even how to build and manage products and services. The combination of tenacity, a strong work ethic, and faith is what truly got me to where I am today.
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My Mother was my number one cheerleader in a season of life when I couldn’t be. I was behind in life, so I thought, I had no money, I was living with my parents while having this dream of doing YouTube full-time. I had no confidence and felt so down about myself, but my Mother always pushed me. She always encouraged me and even when I had 5 subscribers she called me a YouTuber and Ministry founder. She spoke life into me when I couldn’t see it in myself. She taught me how to become my #1 cheerleader and how to keep going even when I didn’t feel worthy.
