Meet Regina Jazz

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Regina Jazz a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Regina, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?
It came from my upbringing and life experiences. I was always taught the importance of giving back and paying it forward. I feel like my personal assignment is sow in love in every aspect.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
Regina is an American jazz singer noted for her “bold and bright” singing (Washington Post) and lauded for her “charismatic and eloquent” stage presence.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The 3 important qualities/skills to have is consistency, resilience and confidence. My advise would be stay focused and create a daily routine that will push you into the place you desire to be.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?
When I’m overwhelmed I’ve learned the power of meditation and self talk. The brain is such a powerful tool; I use it to acknowledge that whatever I’m facing will not destroy me and replace those overwhelming thoughts with positive thoughts and affirmations.
