Meet Brie Boston

We were lucky to catch up with Brie Boston recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Brie, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?

I invested in myself. Not just physically but mentally, spiritually, professionally, and emotionally as well. I decided what I wanted to be and what I didn’t and I made decisions based on those wants. Sometimes that meant doing something I didn’t want to do or that was boring. I got the fundamentals down and that made me love, respect, and value myself more. That made my confidence start to shine through and now it’s a natural thing for me to exude.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

To put it simply, I am an up and coming content creator and an entrepreneur. I have made a profession out of doing the things I love which is take pictures/ videos and live my best life. All It took was me telling myself I am worthy and capable and the rest was history. I also teach others how to get into the field themselves by coaching and educating on content creation. There are so many avenues which I don’t think people realize on social media that will give them the ability to make easy money and have fun while doing it . My Guide/Workbook, From Content to Cashflow: The Beginners Guide to Content Creating will be out this December.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The first one that came to mind was marketing. Not many people know this but I have almost 15 years of marketing experience and it has allowed me the ability to not only be successful in business but understand the importance of creating a marketing funnel that draws people in. You can have the best product in the world but if no one knows about it, how do you expect to make an impact? Networking at one time seemed like an over rated thing but looking back it was so important in my journey. The ability to network is such an underrated skill and with social media, you can do it digitally and it is so convenient and valuable. Lastly, I would say having personality. We are no longer in the age where you can look good and opportunities will come flocking to you. People want to know who you are, what you represent, and how you can make their lives better or easier. Do not be afraid to be yourself and show off your personality. It can get you a lot farther than looks can.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

I’m going to have to give it to Rich Dad, Poor Dad. His storytelling is very relatable and makes it easy to grasp the concepts on how to be wealthy not rich. It expresses the importance of separating yourself no matter how crazy it looks to others. It teaches the game of longevity not just looking good for society. Wealthy people are quiet while rich people are loud.
