Meet Jade Bremer

We were lucky to catch up with Jade Bremer recently and have shared our conversation below.

Jade, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

My confidence and self-esteem have been shaped by my experiences and lessons in the stationery industry. It is easy to fall into the trap of comparison, especially in a field like custom stationery, where it can feel like someone else is always doing something bigger or better. It is natural to have moments of self-doubt and insecurity. However, I have learned to cultivate confidence by focusing on the value I bring to my clients and their trust in me. When I receive an inquiry, I view it as a meaningful affirmation that my work has caught someone’s attention and resonates with them. That’s a sign that my creative efforts have made an impact. The excitement I feel when a client reaches out reminds me that my skills and talent are valued, which is a powerful motivator. I also find inspiration in vast and diverse industries like fashion. There is space for every style in fashion, no matter how niche, and the same is true in the stationery industry. There are countless possibilities for creative expression, and only some people will resonate with my work, but that doesn’t diminish my worth as a designer. Sometimes, a client’s decision not to move forward has more to do with their personal style or needs than with the quality of the work itself. When I experience moments of insecurity, I remind myself of past projects that brought joy to my clients. Reflecting on the happiness I’ve been able to help create through my designs helps me maintain balance. These reminders keep me focused on the value I offer and reinforce the confidence that has been built over time.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Professionally, I am deeply immersed in the stationery industry, where I focus on creating custom designs that bring joy, personalization, and beauty to special moments. My work blends creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. I find great satisfaction in helping my clients celebrate milestones through personal, event, and wedding stationery. What excites me most about my work is the ability to merge art with purpose. Each design I create is not just about aesthetics; it is about crafting a unique experience for the person receiving it. I have always found the tactile nature of stationery magical, and I strive to bring that same sense of connection to everything I create. I did not initially set out to pursue stationery design. However, it became clear over time that it was where my passion and talents aligned. After working on various personal creative projects, I realized how much I enjoyed bringing my designs to life and sharing them with others. This realization led me to start my own business, and I have been fortunate to see it grow and evolve over the past months. As a small business owner, I am constantly striving to improve and expand, both in terms of my design work and the services I offer. One of the most exciting developments this year is the launch of my storefronts on ‘The Knot’ and ‘Wedding Wire.’ It will help more wedding clients find me and allow me to work worldwide with those who may not have been able to find me on social media. Ultimately, I want to convey a sense of authenticity and connection through my work. Every design reflects my commitment to quality, creativity, and the belief that the smallest details can make a significant impact. I look forward to continuing to grow my brand and share my passion for beautiful, meaningful stationery.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Throughout my journey, three qualities that have had the most significant impact are my ability to work well with people, effective communication, and never overpromising or offering something I cannot deliver. Working well with others is essential, especially in a client-based business like stationery design. Building trust, understanding their needs, and maintaining a positive, professional relationship have been key to my success. Effective communication is a close second—whether it is clearly outlining project expectations, staying responsive, or addressing concerns, good communication helps ensure that everything runs smoothly and that clients are satisfied. The third quality that has shaped my journey is the discipline of only offering what I can truly deliver. This is crucial, as clients rely on you to meet their expectations. When starting, taking on every opportunity is tempting. However, staying grounded in what you know and do best is essential. Overextending yourself or promising things you cannot follow through on can harm your reputation and hinder your growth. My advice for those just starting their journey is to stick to what you know in the early stages. Gain knowledge, develop your skills, and build confidence, but only promise or offer services that are within your current abilities. As you grow, you can expand your offerings, but starting with a solid foundation of what you are capable of will help you build trust and ensure a steady, sustainable growth trajectory.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I’m always excited to collaborate with wedding and event planning vendors who are passionate about creating unforgettable client experiences. Specifically, I want to work with photographers, florists, event planners, and other creative professionals who would like to feature custom stationery in their projects. Beautiful stationery can elevate any event, and by collaborating, we can create stunning visuals that showcase our talents and drive new business. Whether through styled shoots or real weddings and events, I am eager to create designs that complement work while providing opportunities to share our expertise and grow together. If you are interested in collaborating or have a project in mind, I would love to hear from you!
