Meet Richie Walls

We recently connected with Richie Walls and have shared our conversation below.

Richie , thanks for taking the time to share your lessons with our community today. So, let’s jump right in – one of the most essential skills for unlocking our potential is self-discipline. Where does your self-discipline come from?

My family raised my brother and myself very athletics driven and we were successful at a young age in soccer, running, cycling, and triathlons. I went on to race on the Olympic level in cycling and track/cross country in college before finding the fashion modeling and television and film world in NYC and Hollywood. My brother went on to be All American in football at Tennessee and the NFL.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I moved to Nashville in 2018 after producing and casting Burt Reynolds’s last movie, “The Last Movie Star”. I’ve been part-time in Nashville and Los Angeles the past six years. I also won an Emmy award in 2018 and another in 2021, so things came full circle when I moved to Nashville. I produced a few movies in Tennessee before starting Seen Entertainment with Brando Eaton. This year alone we’ve executive produced seven films shooting all over the world. Next year we plan to double that.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Ive always been honest and do what I say I’m gonna do. I feel like following through and executing your goals is one of the main things in being successful. I’ve never really had the mentality to stop and take a break. You can do that once you’re there. Being able to multitask being all facets of the entertainment industry has really helped Seen be successful quickly. Our goal is not only to produce as many profitable star driven films as we are, but to help Actors and Models succeed and not only Nashville but Los Angeles, New York and the world.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

My parents always let me be myself. At a young age I decided that I wanted to win the Tour de France and next thing I know my dad and I are in a van traveling the country with a lot of the greatest cyclists of all time. They never even questioned when I decided to move to New York and then Los Angeles to be a modeling agent, Casting Director, film/tv producer, etc. School was very important, but was also secondary to my dreams.
