Meet Antonia Bremeyer

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Antonia Bremeyer. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Antonia, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

My work ethic really comes from my family and the way I was brought up. My parents always emphasized the importance of working hard and being responsible, and that stuck with me. When I was 14, I got my first job while still in high school. I worked a few hours after school to earn a bit of extra money beyond my pocket money. It wasn’t just about the money though, it taught me how to manage my time and gave me a sense of independence and pride in what I could achieve on my own. Those early lessons shaped how I approach work even today, I believe in showing up, putting in the effort, and taking pride in what I do.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Thank you for the opportunity to share my story! I’m the founder of Cordée Cases, a brand focused on creating stylish and functional phone accessories that are designed to keep up with busy, on-the-go lifestyles. What began in 2022 as hope to find an ideal solution for a better way to carry and secure our phones, has grown into a brand that focuses on quality, design and practicality.
What excites me most about what we do is that our products are more than just accessories, they’re problem-solvers. Whether it’s our durable phone cases with heavy-duty straps for active lifestyles or a chic option for a night out, every product is made with our customer’s needs in mind.
In August 2024 we launched our first limited edition collection Oceania, inspired by the colors and elements of the ocean. This collection features bold, nature-inspired phone cases with straps, and on top of that, we are donating 5% of sales to the Sea Turtle Conservancy. It’s been exciting to see the positive response from our customers to this collection.

Cordée Cases is about making life a little easier and a lot more stylish. For me, it’s been incredibly rewarding to see how our products not only meet a practical need but also add something fun and personal to people’s daily routines.
I’m focused on growing the brand further, connecting with more of our community and continuing to innovate with products that our customers truly love. I’m excited for what’s to come!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, I’d say the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning. Resilience has been essential because starting and growing a business comes with its fair share of challenges. There were many moments when things didn’t go as planned, but staying determined and pushing through those tough times made all the difference. I’ve learned to embrace challenges as part of the process and focus on the lessons they bring, knowing that resilience isn’t about avoiding failure, it’s about finding the strength to move forward.
Adaptability has also played a crucial role. Being able to adjust plans as circumstances change has helped me navigate unexpected hurdles and opportunities. Staying open to change has allowed the business to evolve in ways I never initially imagined, and I believe this mindset is key to long-term success.

Finally, a commitment to continuous learning is in my opinion also incredibly important. Whether it’s understanding design trends, improving supply chains, or exploring marketing strategies, staying curious and actively seeking knowledge has been invaluable.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed, I take a moment to acknowledge the situation and figure out what’s causing it. I break tasks into smaller, manageable steps and prioritize what needs attention immediately. I often use tools like to-do lists to stay organized, and I also talk to my dad to get his feedback / point of view on certain situations.

I also find it helpful to take a short break to clear my mind, whether that’s through a walk with my dog, practicing mindfulness, or going to a yoga or pilates class. I’ve found that staying organized, communicating effectively, and taking proactive steps help me turn overwhelming moments into productive outcomes.
