Meet P-wig Jones

We recently connected with P-wig Jones and have shared our conversation below.

P-Wig, thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

I think my optimism stems from a combination of my upbringing and my experiences in the music industry. My parents instilled in me a strong sense of resilience and hope, teaching me that no matter what challenges I faced, I had the power to choose how I responded.

As I navigated the ups and downs of my career, I began to realize that optimism wasn’t just a feeling, but a choice. It’s a decision to focus on the positive, to seek out the lessons in every experience, and to believe that better days are ahead.

For me, optimism is about trusting the process, having faith in my abilities, and staying true to my passion for music. It’s what drives me to keep pushing forward, even in the face of adversity.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

As a musician, I’ve had the privilege of turning my passion into a career. My brand is built around creating music that inspires, uplifts, and connects with people on a deeper level. What I love most about my job is the ability to tell stories through my songs, and to share my message of hope, resilience, and optimism with audiences around the world.

What’s most exciting for me right now is the release of my new music project, which explores themes of perseverance, self-discovery, and the power of the human spirit. I’m also looking forward to touring and performing live, as there’s nothing quite like connecting with fans in person.

In addition to my music, I’m also passionate about giving back to my community. I’ve been involved with various charitable organizations over the years, and I’m committed to using my platform to raise awareness and support for important social causes.

To stay up-to-date on my latest music, tours, and charitable initiatives, follow me on social media or visit my website. Thank you for having me, and I’m excited to share my journey with your readers!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back on my journey, I believe the three qualities that have been most impactful are resilience, creativity, and authenticity.

Resilience has been crucial in helping me navigate the ups and downs of the music industry. There have been times when I’ve faced rejection, criticism, and self-doubt, but I’ve learned to bounce back and keep moving forward.

Creativity has allowed me to stay innovative and fresh in my music and approach. It’s enabled me to take risks, experiment with new sounds, and push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Authenticity has been essential in helping me stay true to myself and my art. It’s allowed me to connect with my audience on a deeper level and build a loyal following.

For those who are early in their journey, I’d advise them to focus on developing these qualities by:

– Practicing resilience through self-care, mindfulness, and learning from failures
– Cultivating creativity through experimentation, taking risks, and exploring new sources of inspiration
– Embracing authenticity by staying true to themselves, their values, and their unique voice

Remember, your journey is unique, and it’s essential to stay focused on your own path. Don’t compare yourself to others, and instead, concentrate on developing your strengths and passions. With persistence, patience, and dedication, you’ll be well on your way to achieving your goals.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

I’ve got more Melinda’s Hot Sauce than I do common sense… that’s how I made it in the music business. But in all seriousness, one of the biggest challenges I’m currently facing is navigating the ever-changing landscape of the music industry.

With the rise of streaming and social media, it’s easier than ever for artists to get their music out there, but it’s also more difficult to cut through the noise and stand out in a crowded market.

As an independent artist, I’m constantly looking for new ways to connect with my audience, build my brand, and stay ahead of the curve. It’s a challenge, but it’s also what drives me to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Ultimately, the key to success in the music industry is staying true to yourself, your art, and your vision. And, of course, having a good supply of Melinda’s Hot Sauce never hurts!
