We recently connected with Thalia Galindo and have shared our conversation below.
Thalia, we can’t begin to explain how much we appreciate you sharing about your PPD experience, but we can say that so many in our community are suffering from or have suffered from postpartum issues including postpartum depression and so you sharing your story and how you overcame it might help someone who is going through it right now or in the future. What can you share with us about how you overcame PPD? For readers, please note this is not medical advice, we are not doctors, you should always consult professionals for advice and that this is merely one person sharing their story and experience.
Postpartum depression was one of the events that guided me to going inward. I didn’t know I had PTSD and Postpartum depression until I was told by my doctor that I had it. To be honest I didn’t even know what it was and I had no idea what to do about it. All I did know was that I did not want to take any medication for it. When I started getting worse with panic attacks, anxiety and lack of sleep, I was feeling way too stressed and as if I was crazy. Thoughts of not wanting to be in this world would come and go and one morning I just decided that dying was not an option. I had a 1 year old at the time and a 7 year old, so I knew that I needed to find my way back in order to be the mother they needed me to be. So I started looking for help. I remember crying while I was showering and I collapsed, I was talking to God and I begged for help. I wasn’t getting any support from family or within my relationship so I felt extremely alone and so I asked God to send me help. Sure enough one day I was scrolling through Instagram and I came across a man whom claimed he can help people change their lives by shifting their subconscious mind and he named a couple of things he had helped people with and one of them was PTSD. So I decided to send him a DM and at this point I had already done some reiki and a couple of things that I thought would help me but for some reason it wasn’t permanent. So I sent him the message and waited for a reply. Soon enough he replied and asked me if he can connect to my energy i said yes and he helped me heal some heart ache I had been feeling that week. It was instant relief and I was shocked. So I bought his course of $450 or more I believe, and I started studying it plus attended his free calls in the community. I noticed some changes but needed more help and so he started giving me coaching sessions. I worked with him for about 3 years straight and within those years I found out I had stored trauma, I had limited beliefs that were blocking me from accepting myself, others, even life. And as I continued to clear, shift and forgive, my thoughts started shifting as well. This consistent work lead me to healing PTSD and with that also Postpartum depression. Everything that was hurting me was stored in my subconscious and it was all shifted. To this day I practice a lot of subconscious work and it’s one of the tools I use to help others shift out of where they know they don’t belong.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
There are a couple of things I do to help others change their lives. I help people reprogram their subconscious mind, I do energy healing by using certain tools like reiki, pranic healing, spiritual response therapy and I also use my very own gifts which are clairvoyance and light language. The most exciting part of my work is using light language to help people release trapped emotions from the body. The amount of high frequencies that come through for others to feel and let go, really excites me and seeing the release and shift of the person when we are done with our session is just rewarding to me. I do a couple of in person market events where I share a little about what I do and even in those 5 to 10 minute sessions, huge transformations happen where I can instantly tell people feel grateful. Some of the services I offer are 1 hour reiki, 1 hour spiritual response therapy healing, pranic healing, light language, subconscious Reprogramming and light body activations using kundalini energy. All which are done remotely. I plan to launch a couple of digital resources that people can use all the time during their journey at affordable prices for the people who a 1 on 1 is out of reach or whom prefer to be on their own while they receive energy work. I also would love to meet like minded individuals whom would like to collaborate and create some magic for our world.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
A quality that i have and admire of myself is being okay with and looking forward to change. When I was working corporate jobs, my bosses always mentioned i was good with change, I would adapt easily and have flexibility. I never really paid much attention to it until I started my personal journey where I noticed that I was constantly changing and going with the flow of my changes. My sense of leadership has always been a great skill. I took all my learnings from different leaders in the work force and I started developing my own. I looked into emotional intelligence when I wanted to grow in a company and I realized I was lacking a lot of that. So I upgraded my EQ and while it did help me in the work force I knew it wasn’t the place my heart felt like growing in. So I brought all of that into my business and till this day I continue to upgrade my EQ and use my leadership skills to lead myself and be that leader I will look up to. I’m not perfect and I don’t always have it together but luckily for me, my husband, siblings and mother are my greatest teachers and I put into practice everything ive learned. They all help me learn more about myself and what all that is not allowing me to be internally free. So in short, building my EQ, self awareness, being okay with change and leadership have made a huge impact in my personal journey. If you are early in your journey I’d advise you to sit and journal about yourself. Really dive in and be real with yourself. What are some of the things you like about yourself and which ones don’t you like. Once you have the ones you like, figure how to improve on them even more and or continue to develop them. As for the ones you don’t like, question them. Where did they come from? Who did you adopt these qualities or skills from. Questioning them will help you declutter and get rid of what is no longer serving you. And in overall you will improve in what you see and feel right for you.

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
A really good book that helped me a lot was the power of death by Gabriel dee. This book helped me realize I was attached to a lot of things in my reality and mostly afraid of death. Not only of me dying but parts of me that no longer resonated with who I was becoming, were afraid of no longer being noticed. A little something from this book that stuck with me is ” when you can totally accept your death, you will also totally accept yourself ” essentially this book talks about the death of our ego and my gosh does it really shake things up internally. Definitely a book that continues to help me every time I feel attached to a personality of mine that no longer resonates and I feel fear, I know it’s not me. But the personality who is afraid of dying. Attachment has played a huge role in my journey. It’s crazy how much we can attach our selves to not only things, but people, relationships, and negative self sabotaging self personalities. All to keep us comfortable and “safe” but when we become true to ourselves and aware of the subjective feelings and stories our mind creates, we become free. And to me, freedom is one of my biggest values. Internal freedom is extremely important to me and the more layers I accomplish to free myself from, the more I can also help others find freedom.
