Meet Anna Arson

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Anna Arson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Anna , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

Building self confidence has been an important journey for me. Early on, sharing my makeup tutorials online was intimidating but I realized that confidence isn’t about perfection, it’s about being authentic. I learned to trust my skills by pushing through self-doubt and focusing on my passion for beauty.

Surrounding myself with a supportive community gave me more courage to take bigger risks. Starting my own makeup line was a big leap but it was also a turning point in realizing I could be both a makeup artist and an entrepreneur. The trust my clients put in me has been incredibly self empowering and continues to build my self-esteem.

Ultimately, confidence comes from embracing growth, facing challenges head-on, and staying true to who I am. I’ve learned to trust the process and know that each step of the journey, no matter how difficult, shapes who I am today.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

Hi there! My name is Anna, the creator of Anna Arson Makeup.

My passion for beauty and makeup started when I was 10, since then it continued to be my main passion. I started in the industry by becoming a certified lash technician. I then attended John Casablanca Institute in Vancouver, BC, and graduated with a Makeup Artistry Diploma. I have worked with many brides and celebrities creating flawless makeup looks. It’s been an incredibly fulfilling journey and I’ve been fortunate to explore a variety of creative paths within the world of beauty. I realized there were gaps in the beauty market when it came to offering high-quality products that truly deliver. That is when I decided to create my own makeup line!

One of the things I’m most excited about is that all of my products are vegan and cruelty-free. I wanted to create something that’s not only great for my clients but also kind to the planet. A standout product in my collection is my 11-piece vegan brush set, designed for both professionals and makeup enthusiasts. Each brush set comes with an informational card that explains which brush is best for different parts of your makeup application. Whether you’re a beginner or a pro, this brush set is designed to elevate your makeup routine with precision and ease.

I’m deeply committed to offering products that are not only versatile but also highly effective. This makeup line took years to develop and every item has been tested and perfected by me, along with other working artists.
I invite everyone to check out my website and explore the brand. I’m excited to see how my products empower others to feel confident and beautiful, and I’m passionate about continuing to grow and evolve in this incredible industry.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, the most impactful qualities in my journey have been openness to new opportunities, networking, and adaptability. I learned early on to say “yes” to everything—whether it was volunteer work, collaborating on new projects, or stepping outside my comfort zone. The connections I’ve made along the way have opened doors to unexpected opportunities and have been instrumental in my growth. My advice to those just starting out is to embrace every opportunity that comes your way, no matter how small it may seem. The relationships you build and the lessons you learn will shape your journey in ways you can’t predict, and adaptability will keep you moving forward in the industry.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

I am always looking to work with creative, passionate individuals! w\Whether they’re fellow makeup artists, influencers, or brands that share similar values. I love collaborating with people who are as dedicated to their craft as I am, and who are excited about pushing boundaries and creating something new. If you’re interested in collaborating, whether it’s for product launches, content creation, or other creative projects, I’d love to hear from you! You can reach out to me directly through my website or connect with me on my social media channels. Let’s create something amazing together!
