Joshua , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience was forged in the challenging environment of my childhood. Growing up in poverty, I was raised by a family struggling with addiction and instability. By the time I was 15, I had attended over 35 schools, constantly moving and adapting to new circumstances. These experiences exposed me to more than most children ever see, forcing me to grow up far sooner than I should have.
However, those challenges became my foundation for strength. I learned that while our past shapes us, it doesn’t define who we become.The hard knocks of life taught me compassion, determination, and the drive to create a better future. My experiences ignited a commitment to ensure my own family would never endure the struggles I faced, and they instilled in me the resilience to overcome any obstacle.
