Hi Megan, thank you so much for making time for us today. Let’s jump right into a question so many in our community are looking for answers to – how to overcome creativity blocks, writer’s block, etc. We’d love to hear your thoughts or any advice you might have.
Travel! It’s the best medicine to think up new ideas, designs, and take a minute to reset and focus.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Hi! I’m Megan – wedding planner, traveler, fur baby mama, and Owner & Lead Planner for our DC, Virginia, Indiana, Colorado and Florida headquarters.

With a degree in Business + Marketing and countless years of design work, I love seeing unique visions come to life while creating a relaxed planning space for our couples. If you’re ready to pop a bottle of bubbly (my every day, go to) and work together to create a one-of-a-kind wedding day, then you’ve found the right gal. I can’t wait to meet you!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Persistence, creativity and kindness

Realize that ‘no’ is a full sentence. As a people pleaser, it was hard early on to say that one little word and burnout was very real. Take time to really focus on how you want your business to look and know that not every project is one you need to be involved in.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
