Meet Rosie Anderson

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rosie Anderson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Rosie, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

From a young age, I knew I was different. I always thought there was more to life than what I could see. My Mother always said that I was the “emotional” one. I later found out that I was an empath which helped this make sense. She didn’t really know how to deal with me on that level. Our family life was tumultuous. One thing I knew for sure; that there had to be a better way.

I turned to self-help books in high school, which provided a sense of hope for a better future. After graduation, I juggled full-time work with part-time college, becoming the first in my family to pursue higher education. I was determined to carve out a fulfilling life for myself and was set on a corporate career. Years of personal development, workshops, courses, and extensive reading followed.

After 15-years in radio broadcasting sales, I left the city, tired of the corporate grind and the relentless pursuit of shareholder satisfaction. Again, I knew there was something deeper for me to do. In 2004, I entered the real estate industry. While I enjoyed helping people, I sensed a deeper, more spiritual calling and dedicated myself to uncovering it.

I explored various avenues, but nothing resonated with me as much as the experience of supporting my mentor during her final days. Having spiritually guiding me since high school, her passing in my 40’s left a deep void. The hospice nurses, who had heard so much about Rosie, hadn’t believed I was real until I arrived for her last days as I helped her move into a comfortable place.

A few years later. my mother succumbed to an aggressive cancer within two months, deepening my contemplation of life’s fragility. I was with her the last two months of her life in and out of emergency rooms. It was the worst pain that I had ever experienced. I knew I had to learn more about accepting death and what happens when we transition.

Then five years later, my most favorite human, my baby brother unexpectedly passed at 54.

After losing the people closest to me, a friend recommended that I talk to a reputable psychic/medium to find some inner peace about these loses. He told me things that were so spot on, I was blown away. There is no way he could have known these things. We connected during that reading and he asked me to be a visitor in his spiritual development group for psychic and mediums. After a couple of visits, I joined the group the group in 2016 where I am still a member.

One night, we had guests come into our group for readings. I met with a man who I had never met, and his dad came through (from the spiritual world). His dad was an angry, mean human on earth and did terrible things to him and I could feel it. I could see his dad crying for all of the awful things that he did to him. This man that I was giving a reading to, started to cry and asked me if I always made grown men cry. He was sobbing and telling me that he needed to hear that from his dad as it haunted him every day of his life. From that point on, I realized how healing this work is.

I had been concerned about what others thought, is this work too woo-woo. Too out there. Too much. But the healing aspect was clear to me. And I wanted to help people in a deep, spiritual way.

The only thing holding me back was me. That is when I took a deep dive into this work and created a website and took many seminars, classes and trainings to grow my skill set. I was double blind tested and accepted for two major websites to do psychic and mediumship work. I believe it is a God given gift to be a healer and to help people on a deep level.

It is my time to share my gifts with the world.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Every client is different, so I focus on a foundation of four pillars, spiritual, physical movement, relationships and career/creative expression based on their individual needs. When these areas are in a balanced state, our lives flow more smoothly. In today’s hectic world, self-love and preservation are more necessary than ever. A good morning routine incorporating these four things, changes the trajectory of the day by starting it on solid ground so when the challenges pop up, we are much more prepared to take them on.

I embraced my gifts to bring comfort, healing and closure to those who have struggled and lost loved ones as I believes that there is no death, as energy does not die, we transition to the spirit world. The losses in my own life have brought me to this place of compassion, understanding and connection.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My life has not been easy, however there are three innate things that I feel have helped me get to where I am today.

1. A deep curiosity of all things. I want to know and understand what makes people happy, sad and everything in between. The study of humans is fascinating.

2. Tenacity to get the job done. I believe this is a gift from God that I have deep inside that I will do what it takes to get to where I want to go. I have overcome many obstacles in my life, and I credit this gift of tenaciousness to get me through.

3. Empathy and understanding of people. I care about people deeply and love helping them blossom and grow beyond their wildest dreams.

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

Helping people fills up my heart and soul. Witnessing someone transform themselves into something greater is magical. Humans with a deep sense of curiosity who want to grow and expand themselves are my favorite kind of people.

People who want to take a deep dive into their lives and are open to suggestions, intuitive insight and who want to do the work to create their own personalized self-care regime benefit the most from this work in my experience. It is in the “doing” as well as the “being” that great things are created.
