Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Nadeen. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Nadeen, thank you for being such a positive, uplifting person. We’ve noticed that so many of the successful folks we’ve had the good fortune of connecting with have high levels of optimism and so we’d love to hear about your optimism and where you think it comes from.
I believe my optimism is deeply rooted in my faith. Life is unpredictable, and nothing is promised, so I’ve learned not to waste energy worrying about the future. Instead, I focus on the present and the opportunities it holds, even in the face of challenges. Worrying only distracts from the growth that can come from finding ways through difficulties as they arise.
When obstacles or mistakes occur, I see them as opportunities to learn and grow. Each challenge brings its lesson, shaping me into a stronger, more resilient person. My faith reminds me that even the hardest moments have a purpose, helping me move forward with trust and confidence.
By embracing life as it comes and focusing on the lessons within each experience, I’ve found more peace and fulfillment. Optimism isn’t about ignoring struggles—it’s about believing in the value of every moment and trusting the journey.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
To kick things off, my name is Nadeen, and I am the proud founder of F4stcustoms, a venture I started alongside my talented co-founder, Neil. F4stcustoms is an automotive photography and videography business that began last August (2023) as a fun side project. Initially, our goal was simple: to capture and share the coolest and most unique cars we encountered at car meets with our close friends and family. However, as time went on, we realized the potential for something much bigger if we dedicated ourselves to it.
Even though we were (and still are) full-time students, we made it a priority to carve out time for car meets and photography. The passion we had for showcasing automotive beauty kept us motivated to get better at what we do. We wanted to create something that wasn’t just another photography page but a platform that truly stood out.
What makes F4stcustoms different isn’t just the photos or videos we create—it’s why we do it. Sure, we love seeing the likes and follows roll in (who wouldn’t?), but that’s not what drives us. For us, it’s all about sharing our passion for cars with the community—whether that’s people in our hometown, across the country, or even around the world. We want to connect with others who feel the same excitement we do when we see a beautifully designed car.
Since last summer, things have really started to take off. Honestly, it’s been wild. Our page has grown in ways we never thought possible, and that growth has only made us more motivated to improve. We’re constantly learning, trying new things, and working to create content that people love. The messages we get from people who enjoy what we do? They mean everything to us. Hearing someone call us “talented” or say our work inspires them—it’s surreal. It’s the kind of thing that makes you pause and think, Wow, this is really happening.
What started as a fun little side project for our close friends and family has turned into something we’re incredibly proud of. As of now, we’ve grown to over 1,200 followers. Sure, that’s just a number on a screen, but behind every number is a real person who took the time to check out our work and hit that follow button. That’s something we’ll never take for granted.
Looking ahead, we’re beyond excited for what’s next. We’re committed to leveling up our content, connecting with even more people, and continuing to share our love for cars with the world. This all began as a hobby, but it’s become something so much bigger—a journey we’re so proud to be on. We can’t wait to see where it takes us.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back on how we started, our success came down to three key skills: determination, motivation, and a genuine passion for entertaining through what we created. These qualities drove us to consistently share our work, allowing others to experience the beauty we saw in cars through our images.
If I could offer a good piece of advice to anyone starting their photography journey, it would be this: practice, practice, practice. You can’t improve as a photographer or editor without putting in the work. Even if all you have is an old, rusted Toyota Corolla in a parking lot, use it. Experiment with angles, play with lighting and figure out how to make the most of your surroundings. Nothing great comes effortlessly—everything worthwhile is earned, and practice is the foundation for reaching your goals.
Another important tip is to discover what works for you. Figure out what best represents your style and your unique vision. Find that special balance that sets you apart from others. It takes time, but the patience and effort will pay off in the end.
What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
One of my biggest challenges is balancing school. Being a senior in high school feels like a nonstop rollercoaster of stress. Between homework, my job, and working on F4stcustoms, it can be tough to manage my time. But no matter how hectic things get, I never lose the motivation to create and share work for the fans who love it as much as I do.
Another obstacle is the weather. With winter approaching, there aren’t as many car meets, and you rarely see cool cars out on the roads. Bad weather increases the risk of accidents, and salt on the roads can lead to rust, so it’s understandable. Even so, my team and I at F4stcustoms are committed to doing our best to keep producing content, no matter what.
Thankfully, our followers make it all worth it. They’re not only incredibly positive and supportive but also patient and excited to see what’s coming next from F4stcustoms.
