Meet Adriana Hummel

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Adriana Hummel. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Adriana, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

Confidence and self-esteem didn’t just happen overnight for me—it’s been a journey rooted in self-discipline, passion, and staying true to who I am. From a young age, I’ve had an internal drive to push myself. I vividly remember setting my alarm two hours earlier in middle school just so I could do my hair and get ready. Even then, I wanted to present myself in a way that made me feel confident and proud.

Fashion has always been a part of that. It’s more than clothes; it’s a way to express myself and set the tone for how I show up in the world. I take pride in keeping myself put together. For me, it’s not about perfection but about honoring myself.

Waking up at 5 a.m. to work out is another ritual that has played a huge role in building my self-esteem. Taking care of my body and showing up for myself every day—even when I don’t feel like it—has taught me the value of consistency and discipline. It’s in those early hours that I remind myself I’m capable of achieving anything I set my mind to.

I’ve also learned that confidence comes from connecting with others. I genuinely love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and sharing mine. Those connections have taught me to embrace my uniqueness and celebrate what makes me, me.

Being a mom, a wife, a business owner, and a traveler has also shaped my self-esteem. Juggling all these roles isn’t always easy, but it’s taught me resilience and the importance of staying grounded in my values. I’ve learned that confidence isn’t about having it all together—it’s about showing up, trying, and growing along the way.

At the end of the day, my confidence comes from a deep belief in myself and a commitment to living a life that aligns with my passions and goals. Whether it’s in the gym at dawn, building my brand, or sharing moments with my kids, I know that every effort I make contributes to the person I’m becoming.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I wear many hats in my life, and each one brings its own sense of fulfillment and purpose. I’m the proud founder and CEO of Sweet Peas Co., a children’s e-commerce clothing brand specializing in buttery-soft, hypoallergenic bamboo pajamas. We launched in 2017 from our iconic viral turbans which were worn by Hollywood babies like the Kardashians, Hilary Duff and more with the ultimate success. In 2023, we expanded into the apparel world. Our clothing are designed to be stylish, comfortable, and gentle on sensitive skin, making them a favorite for parents and kids. One of our most exciting milestones has been collaborating with nostalgic brands like Care Bears and Strawberry Shortcake in which both have SOLD OUT multiple times.

In 2024, we became the official pajama partner for Care Bears x Strawberry Shortcake first-ever joint collection, which launched in December and has been a huge success! Seeing two iconic brands come together and hearing families rave about the collection has been incredibly rewarding. It’s a beautiful Mommy and Me Luxe Lace Pajama Collection made of the softest bamboo fabric providing fashion, comfort and luxury now LIVE on our website, www.sweetpeasco.com.

To take Sweet Peas to the next level, I brought on my business partner, Danielle Marder, another driven mom who now serves as our COO. Together, we’ve been able to scale the business, dream bigger, and continue creating collections that families love. Two mom’s on a mission to bring only the best for our littles and families.

In addition to Sweet Peas, I’m also building my personal brand as Adriana Hummel. People often come to me for advice and guidance, whether it’s about parenting, fashion, travel, or building confidence. I’ve been fortunate to share my experiences as a mom of two, a wife, a business owner, and someone who has traveled to 38 countries. Through my Instagram platform, I aim to inspire women—especially moms—to pursue their dreams, take care of themselves, and live life fully.

What’s most exciting about this journey is how I get to connect with people. I love being a resource for others, whether they need tips on how to juggle motherhood and business, ideas for their next travel destination, or simply a reminder that they’re capable of so much more than they think. Adriana Hummel is all about empowering women to live boldly and authentically while showing them that it’s okay to embrace every part of who they are.

What makes this work special is the impact I see it having. Whether it’s a message from a mom who feels inspired to start her own business, someone who’s been motivated to prioritize self-care, or a parent who loves Sweet Peas for their child, it’s incredibly rewarding to know I’ve made a difference!

At the core of everything I do is my desire to connect, uplift, and create. Whether I’m designing new products for Sweet Peas or sharing my life as Adriana Hummel, I’m driven by the belief that we all have the power to shape the lives we want—and I’m here to encourage others to take that bold step forward.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

For me, consistency, discipline, and passion have been the driving forces behind everything I’ve accomplished. Consistency has taught me that showing up every day, even when it’s hard, is what creates lasting results. Discipline keeps me focused on my goals, whether it’s waking up at 5 a.m. for the gym or balancing motherhood and business. And passion fuels it all—it’s what keeps me motivated, inspired, and excited to push through challenges and keep building the life I’ve always dreamed of.

Start small, but start now. Consistency doesn’t mean perfection—it means taking little steps every day, even when it feels like progress is slow. Over time, those small actions add up in big ways. Discipline is about commitment, not motivation. Motivation will come and go, but discipline will carry you through the tough moments. Create routines and habits that align with your goals, and stick to them no matter what.

Finally, let your passion lead the way. Find what excites you and lean into it. Passion is the spark that keeps you going when things get tough, so make sure you’re pursuing something that truly matters to you. And remember, it’s okay to grow and evolve—your journey is yours, and it’s never too late to adjust your path.

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?

The past year has been transformative for me. I’ve grown stronger in every way—mentally, physically, and emotionally. Motherhood has been one of my greatest teachers, and in the last 12 months, I’ve learned to balance being fully present for my kids while also prioritizing myself.

I’ve gained a deeper understanding of who I am and what truly matters to me. Part of that growth has been learning how to say no—whether it’s to things that don’t align with my values or to commitments that drain my energy. Saying no has given me the freedom to focus on what brings me joy and purpose.

Through it all, I’ve found strength in building healthier habits, pushing myself physically, and staying emotionally grounded. This growth has not only made me a better mother, wife, and businesswoman, but it’s also helped me step into the most confident version of myself.
