Meet London Dior

We were lucky to catch up with London Dior recently and have shared our conversation below.

London , so good to have you with us today. We’ve got so much planned, so let’s jump right into it. We live in such a diverse world, and in many ways the world is getting better and more understanding but it’s far from perfect. There are so many times where folks find themselves in rooms or situations where they are the only ones that look like them – that might mean being the only woman of color in the room or the only person who grew up in a certain environment etc. Can you talk to us about how you’ve managed to thrive even in situations where you were the only one in the room?

By being myself authentic self , it’s not about whose in the room it’s about making them snap there necks as I come in , and you do that by focusing on you and making sure you’re well on all spectrums , mentally emotionally , physically and most importantly professionally

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Hello My name is London P Dior , I was born In Milwaukee WI and raised in Memphis TN , after traveling the world I’ve settled down in Houston and doing so has granted me the opportunity to open two business , one being my makeup company The London Dior effect and two being my makeup artistry , under the name Face First Productions they’re both my pride and joy ! Makeup artistry and esthetics period has been the love of my life since I was ten , just recently I began working on my online presence and have also been blessed with the opportunity of becoming an influencer under the name London.the.mogul and honestly it’s been the biggest blessing, I’ve worked with a lot of prestige companies including Lancôme , Gucci Beauty , YSL Bubble , Estée Lauder and more , and I Thank God for it and look forward to what the future of my career brings me

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

My immediate response would have to be my skill in make up and my knowledge of esthetics if it was t fr the knowledge I’ve been able to pick up I wouldn’t be where I am , my advise to anyone wanted to take the same path I’m on or if yiu just have interest in anything similar c I don’t care what anyone says don’t give up ! Anything is possible and make up and face care is and will always be a real career and as far as improving, study your career choice don’t just say you want to do it , get up and do it and don’t stop until you’re satisfied
