Meet Jonathan Shrednick

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Jonathan Shrednick. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Jonathan below.

Jonathan , thrilled to have you on the platform as I think our readers can really benefit from your insights and experiences. In particular, we’d love to hear about how you think about burnout, avoiding or overcoming burnout, etc.

Hello. I believe everyone has an internal “motor” that was groomed over the years by harnessing the ability to never fail. For me, Completely Pickled has no room for taking the pedal off this train. We are constantly being judged by our quality, flavor and value which leads to our credo, “we are only as good as our last batch”.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I LOVE PICKLES! Completely Pickled was originally put together to satisfy MY needs of having a better pickle that not only is super delicious but has a better health result than store bought pickles. Due to the fact that our pickle brine is so amazing, it allows us to continually create new ideas and products to insure that our customers will never be bored of our amazing varieties of pickled goods.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1) Not taking myself too seriously–We are creating a great product for people to enjoy, we are not changing the world whatsoever

2) Always have the desire to perform hard work.–My parents gave me life, it’s what you make of it that matters. Successful people have a “motor” which usually ends in great things.

3) Don’t be afraid to try new things or ways of achieving goals-That’s why we have so many awesome varieties of products.

If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?

We are currently trying to sell an inspirational children’s book, “The Pickledude” about how the company started out. All proceeds of the sale go to the Delta Gamma Center for Visually impaired Children. I figured people would buy this all over where I sell our pickles, online or farmers markets. Alas, we haven’t sold many copies and I cant figure out how to turn the sales around.
