Meet Neal Williams

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Neal Williams. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Neal below.

Neal , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I developed confidence by trying new things, setting goals and working to achieve them. Each success is a little more confidence, and another reason to try something else.

I developed my self-esteem by doing estimable acts. I feel good about myself because I feel good about the life I have been living.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
Elevated Lifestyle Academy provides case management, consulting, and life coaching to families struggling with addiction, substance abuse, and challenges with mental health.

Outside of ELA, I am an author, mentor, and recovery advocate. I volunteer in the recovery community, as well as in the criminal justice system.

As a recovered alcoholic and drug addict, I encountered a lot of legal trouble as a result of my lifestyle. I am passionate about helping other men overcome those issues and pursue a better way of life. I have devoted my life to helping boys and men develop into the person God created them to be, and to answer His call on their lives.

I wake up excited to do what I do. I am blessed and grateful to lift others up through my profession and work in the community.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Perspective – it was important for me to develop a positive outlook on life. Before I could serve others in any capacity, I needed to formulate a new, healthy approach on life. My new approach is to see what I can learn from every experience, and to find how I can contribute to situations and people around me. What can I give? How can I help?

Education and Experience – the nature of the work I and my company do, is very sensitive. It involves peoples families and it is oftentimes a lot or death situation. Addiction and mental health and very serious subjects.
It was essential that I properly educate myself on addiction and mental health beforehand, but also that I continue to do so throughout my career.
I gained years of experience throughout volunteer work with non profit organizations. This allowed me to step into my industry with the adequate knowledge and experience necessary the help families.

Kindness – Treat other people with kindness, no matter what you do for work. There is no other way to operate.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I am always looking to collaborate with:

-mental health professional
-treatment centers
-medical professionals
-educational consultants
-private schools
-family office professionals
