Meet Tarina Khatun

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tarina Khatun. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Tarina, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.

That’s where the word bold truly comes into play. If you are bold, I believe taking risks is the first step to proving it to yourself and the world.

In 2009, an event occurred that shaped my life. I was forced into a child marriage, and what followed was non-consensual sex—which is rape—something my soul could never accept. I gathered the courage to approach my mother, asking her to file for a divorce. However, she dismissed my plea, insisting that it was tradition and something I had to endure.

But I couldn’t. I told her I would rather end my life than live in such a reality. With no other choice, she finally took action.

That experience defined my path. From that moment onward, I made promise to myself: I will never tolerate anything that my soul cannot accept. I will stand firm in my truth, no matter how difficult the journey, and I will do whatever it takes to honor my inner voice.

Being bold is not just about taking risks; it’s about standing up for what you believe in and refusing to live in a way that contradicts your essence.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Hi, I’m Tarina Khatun – a wellness coach, sound healer, and empath. I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates about my journey.

I’ve recently published two books

Story of Rebirth – From Darkness To Light
Spiritual Empath Journey – Exploring the mystical realms of energy, emotion and destiny.

I’m also proud to introduce my personal brand, Heal with Tarina, where I combine my expertise in yoga, sound healing, and holistic wellness to help others align their mind, body, and spirit.

It’s been an incredible more than 4years journey, and I’m grateful to continuing sharing my experience.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Art, Sports, Empathy
Art gave me sense of calmness and clarity to see things clearly also patiently
Sports to keep me active not only physically but emotionally
Empathy to connect with others as being, not to judge from outside but to feel and decide.

# Nothing is right or Wrong, and Good or bad do what your souls says but Never Regrate once you take step
*give your best and leave the rest.

To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was to build a strong foundation that shaped who I am today. Interestingly, their intentions were often the opposite of what I made of them, but I turned their teachings into something empowering.

We are six siblings, and my father, a punctual and disciplined man, had strict rules and values. While my siblings found his discipline overwhelming, I admired it greatly. He would wake us up early—around 3 or 4 a.m.—but I was the only one who consistently got up with him. I took pride in this habit, feeling special and accomplished.

However, alongside the discipline came beliefs that I couldn’t accept: that girls don’t need much education because they’ll marry early, that they should focus on household skills, avoid certain clothes, stay away from boys, and never be financially independent.

While others accept these ideas, I felt the opposite. I saw it as my responsibility to break this chain of thought and challenge these beliefs. Deep down, I knew that life is about what you believe, and I chose to believe in something different—a future where women can be independent and empowered.
