We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Christian Casola. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Christian below.
Christian, thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?
My creativity is truly unmanageable; I smile at the funny things that come to mind every second I spend with myself. But it keeps me alive—it’s thanks to my creativity that I’ve achieved so many milestones and dreams, realized with strength and determination. My key phrase is “always believe.”
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am Christian Casola, an Italian singer and journalist born in Salerno on July 19, 1999. Music has always been my refuge and my guiding light, so much so that I earned a diploma in modern singing, focusing especially on pop and lyrical genres. My artistic journey began at Sound Music Studio, where I had the privilege of studying under Maestro Angelo Russo, a mentor who helped me develop my light tenor timbre and refine my technique and interpretative versatility.
Writing and singing are, for me, two sides of the same coin: two ways of expressing who I am and connecting with the world. In 2023, I published my book, Amen, a project that represents an important piece of my soul and is available on Amazon. It was a crucial step in my creative and personal journey.
I divide my time between music and journalism, two passions that allow me to explore and narrate reality from different perspectives. Every experience, every note, and every written word bring me closer to my dreams, driving me to always believe in my abilities and push beyond my limits. This is the message I carry with me: always believe.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
As I was saying, the desire to never stop believing in my goals and to persevere is what drives me. In my artistic journey, I have had the chance to achieve my own satisfactions. I have never paid attention to people’s judgments; I have always followed my own path.
If you knew you only had a decade of life left, how would you spend that decade?
Today, I am happy with my journey. I write for the ArtesTv newspaper, which brings me great satisfaction and is helping me grow significantly artistically. My goal is to collaborate with more publications, gain greater recognition, and become a point of reference.
