Meet Sarah Mcdonald

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Sarah Mcdonald. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Sarah below.

Hi Sarah , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

I believe my resilience comes from a combination of my life experiences, the challenges I’ve faced, and the high standards I hold for myself. By the age of 15, I was an orphan, which meant I had to navigate life independently and find strength within myself. Losing that support system at such a young age taught me to rely on my inner drive and determination, and it shaped my ability to push through obstacles and rise above the negativity or ‘evil eyes’ around me. I had to become fearless.

Life hasn’t always gone as planned, whether in my personal journey or as an entrepreneur managing multiple businesses. But instead of falling apart or giving up, I’ve always seen those moments as valuable lessons. Each setback has been an opportunity to learn how to improve, adapt, and come back stronger. That mindset shift—from seeing challenges as failures to seeing them as growth opportunities—has been a key part of my resilience.

On a deeper level, I’ve also found balance through my dedication to mind-body-soul health. Practices like breathwork, meditation, reiki, pranic healing and self-reflection allow me to stay grounded and recharge, which is essential when life gets overwhelming. Resilience isn’t just about bouncing back; it’s about maintaining balance, learning from adversity, and using those experiences to build something even better. That’s the philosophy I live by and what I strive to teach others every day.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Sarah is a seasoned certified personal trainer, cl2 coach, founder of FocusedFit, pranic healing practitioner, reiki master, and certified nutrition specialist.. Her main goal in life is to help you on your healing and personal development journey.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1) Spiritual journey was impactful. Going beyond the veil to get to your higher self. Letting go of some ego and ignorance. Completely opening up. Breathwork has helped immensely with this journey, It’s allowed me to access my subconscious and have major releases of past trauma, stuck stagnant energy and helped open up my chakras and access my true inner-self.

2) Never give up. Never giving up has been the cornerstone of my journey to becoming the business owner I am today. Life has thrown countless challenges my way, from growing up as an orphan by the age of 15 to navigating obstacles in building multiple businesses. At every turn, there were moments when it would have been easier to give in to doubt or let setbacks define me. But I’ve always chosen to persevere, seeing every challenge as an opportunity to grow, adapt, and push forward. This refusal to quit has allowed me to turn my passion for health, wellness, and transformation into thriving businesses that help others find their own strength and balance. Giving up was never an option, because I knew the life I wanted to create—and the impact I wanted to make—was worth fighting for.

3) Sometimes the only support you’ll have is “me, myself and i”. Embrace this. If anyone helps your thats AMAZING but dont expect it or you will become very bitter and disappointed. People only support you when they think you’ve ‘made it’ You have to have your own back , you have to have a laser sharp vision of what your life is going to be, you have to do it alone most of the time.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Absolutely! I’m always looking to connect with and collaborate with fellow spiritual entrepreneurs, fitness enthusiasts, and like-minded individuals who are passionate about holistic wellness and personal growth. Whether you’re an influencer, a coach, or someone dedicated to empowering others through mind-body-soul practices, I’d love to explore ways we can team up to inspire and impact more lives. I’m particularly interested in working with people who value authenticity, innovation, and creating meaningful connections. If this resonates with you, feel free to reach out! You can connect with me directly via email [email protected]. Let’s create something powerful together!
