Hi Andre, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?

Growing up, my parents instilled in me a strong work ethic that has been the foundation of everything I do. Whether it was academics, sports, or personal goals, their influence taught me the value of perseverance and hard work. As the point guard for my basketball team, I developed leadership skills early on, learning how to guide and inspire others while staying disciplined and focused.

Interestingly, a significant part of my motivation also comes from my love for anime. Shows like Dragon Ball Z had a profound impact on me, especially the character Goku, who constantly pushes past his limits no matter how challenging the circumstances. Watching him, I found a parallel with my parents’ resilience and determination, which deepened my appreciation for both.

These influences taught me an essential life lesson: if you’re willing to endure the hardships, put in the effort to train harder, study more, and continually learn, you can achieve remarkable success. This mindset has been a driving force in my journey, and it’s something I strive to carry into every aspect of my life.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I’m currently working on LumiRx, a company dedicated to product authentication and transparency. Our mission is to ensure that products are genuine, securely tracked from their point of origin to the end consumer, and provide valuable information at every stage of the supply chain.

Currently, we’re focused on the pharmaceutical industry in response to the FDA’s Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA). This new regulation requires meticulous tracking and tracing of medicines down to the unit level. Our advanced NFC technology not only enables compliance but also allows seamless communication with consumers, empowering them with essential information about the products they use.

Our technology is incredibly versatile, designed to tackle challenges such as counterfeit prevention, supply chain management, and consumer engagement across various industries. With NFC chips, we’re creating a new era of interaction between businesses and their customers, fostering trust and building stronger relationships.

Looking ahead to 2025, our goal is ambitious yet impactful: deploying 100 million NFC chips globally to enhance transparency, improve security, and redefine how products are authenticated and experienced.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

In my view, the most essential qualities for an entrepreneur are resilience and consistency. Pursuing a goal or a dream requires an unwavering commitment to staying focused, removing distractions, and pushing through hardships, no matter how challenging they may be. Success isn’t just about talent or resources—it’s about the ability to keep going, adapt, and persevere through every obstacle.

I believe that our level of success is directly tied to how much stress we can manage effectively. However, to truly excel, it’s equally important to eliminate external distractions and maintain a clear focus on the path you’ve chosen. By aligning your energy with your purpose and staying the course, the seemingly impossible becomes achievable.
