Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Samantha Dipippa. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Samantha, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I developed my confidence and self-esteem in recent years of consistency. Because confidence and self-esteem are not fixed traits; they can be developed and strengthened over time with consistent effort.
My small following on Instagram all happened because of a couple of things. One, I love to take pictures to always remember what I have experienced. I got this from my grandmother, we used to take photos of everything and scrapbook them when I was younger. Posting on my page is my digital scrapbook and this has helped my confidence. It has grown throughout my posting on Instagram. That’s where my motto and user name come from CreateSimply412. To me, every post doesn’t need to be thought about in super depths. If you want to post do it because you can post something simple or extravagant. Collaborations are different obviously because those are business transactions and there are guidelines and boundaries. My self-esteem has been at an all-time high when I post and I am like everyone else’s I go through the motions. There are very good days and there are bad days but when they are bad I don’t let them keep me down for long. I usually take a walk or I call my sister to get the doubt out of my head. A big one is I journal what I am feeling because it’s just a little impostor syndrome in my self-esteem that I have to get past. It is easier to do it when you practice self-acceptance, set achievable goals, surround yourself with positive influence, and develop healthy habits.
Having confidence is a huge factor in my daily life and anyone can be confident.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
As a Content Creator (CreateSimply412) and micro-influencer in a city like Pittsburgh, my brand is rooted in authenticity, local connection, and reliability. I try my best for my followers to feel like they know me personally, and to trust my opinions because I try to come across as real and approachable. My content isn’t about perfection; it’s about sharing my everyday experiences, challenges, and successes. This authenticity is what makes me stand out in a crowded influencer space. My audience feels a sense of connection because they see themselves in your stories. And I am so grateful for all of them.
I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in-store for me and my audience. I have a few series that I am so excited to post about.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Consistent & Approachablilty & Brand Identity
For folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these, a micro-influencer means you have a smaller but highly engaged audience. Your brand thrives because your followers are loyal and invested in your journey. The consistency in the quality and relatability of your content keeps your followers coming back, and they engage with you more personally than they would with a bigger influencer.
Brand Identity is about community connection, local love, and being the relatable voice that encourages others to embrace their city, their interests, and their authenticity. As the micro-influencer who is approachable, trustworthy, and a valuable source of local insight, whether it’s for recommendations, lifestyle tips, or supporting local causes. Content fosters a sense of belonging, and your followers see you as someone who represents their own experiences in a way that’s both personal and inspiring
All the wisdom you’ve shared today is sincerely appreciated. Before we go, can you tell us about the main challenge you are currently facing?
*Timing**
Timing is always my number one challenge. I’m not referring to time management; I mean timing in a broader sense. Some days feel long enough that I could add something to my schedule, but that wouldn’t be beneficial in the long run since I intentionally leave space in my schedule to avoid burnout. Another timing issue arises when opportunities come up with deadlines that conflict with my work schedule. Since I work part-time, it can be helpful when a collaboration opportunity arises that I can participate in.
