Meet Sarah Goldberg

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Sarah Goldberg. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Sarah , thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?

My ability to withstand and recover quickly from difficulties has been truly found in my relationship with Jesus Christ. He has been my foundation and apart from Christ I genuinely know that I would not be able to persist through difficult times.

Association!!! – Along side of this would be mentors that I have had over the years.

God placed Vinny & Dayna into my life over 13 years ago and I can honestly say, the lessons that I have learned from their experience and advising has been a big part of who I am today. They have help reshape how I think about relationships, finances, my spirituality, etc.

I am also able to withstand times of toughness because I know it will not last forever. In addition, I trust the promises God has given me. Whether that is through dreams, through other people speaking into my life, through God’s living word, etc., I trust that which God has told will come to past.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Born and raised in New York has shaped my mind and life to be very fast paced. In August of 2022 God told me to go back to school (this was through a pricking and unwavering feeling I had to appl to school). I knew that this could only be God as I have vowed to never return to a classroom. After barley graduating high school because I kept failing English, I vowed to never go to school. Then I realized I wanted to get away from my mother so I applied to college far enough to live on campus and close enough to get back home if I needed. Long Story short I graduated high school in 2004 and vowed to never return. So in August of 2022 when I felt the strong desire to return to school, I knew it was God.

By God’s grace, I completed my bachelors in 8 months with Lancaster Bible College. When God told me to go back to school it was for my masters, however, I knew I could not get my masters without my bachelors. So I applied and got it done in 8 months to the glory of God.

Once I graduated, in the same week I heard God tell me to go to Dallas Theological Seminary. I had heard of the school before but never saw myself moving to Texas. However, I moved with no job to Texas and stayed with my Sister and brother in Law. I am in my second year of my masters program here.

By God’s grace I am apart of planting the Texas Branch of my church here. We started meeting in homes in September 2023 and officially launched in April 2024 .

I have also secured a job to the glory of God which is remote and back in New York that agreed to match my previous salary. So God has truly been great.

I also have an amazing daughter who is 8 years old and has been the biggest blessing to me. I am truly blessed

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Financial Wealth
Studying the Bible
Being able to Multitask

Awesome, really appreciate you opening up with us today and before we close maybe you can share a book recommendation with us. Has there been a book that’s been impactful in your growth and development?

I have multiple books that have played an important role in my life – “In the Company of Women”, Think and Grow Rich, Personality Plus, the list goes on and on! I love to read and try to read 1 book a month.

I also have many destiny helpers who have been truly impactful in me getting to where I am now.
