Meet The Winchester Brothers

We recently connected with The Winchester Brothers and have shared our conversation below.

The Winchester Brothers, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

T:
I found my purpose through a variety of art forms. I’ve known my purpose as a creator for as long as I can remember. The reason I felt so strongly that filmmaking WAS my purpose was because everything else didn’t feel as vivid. This avenue gave me the opportunity to extract these eccentric ideas from my mind when nobody else wanted to listen. I believe that my purpose derived from my creative family and a fire inside me that I can’t quite explain.

G:
I found my purpose through constantly creating things when I was younger with myself and my brother a lot of the time. A lot of those creations were inspired by TV shows like the Walking Dead and funny comedic skits on YouTube by people like SMOSH, which were heavily influenced into our own creations. Creating has always been made dear to me because I find myself using my imagination a lot. Being able to think of something and then put it to life? Now THAT is awesome to me.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

At 2100films, we are focused on the sole progression of the horror film industry and community. We create and distribute horror short films, feature films, and projects alike. We have many plans, but we’ll keep it simple.

We own and operate a brand new horror film festival titled “Friday Night Frights” which will take place in Los Angeles and involve the work of a plethora of hungry independent filmmakers. Not only was this always something we’ve wanted to do, but it brings together the community we’ve always dreamt of.

Currently, we are focused on the pre-production side of our feature film, “The Face,” originally titled “Mr. Smile.” This film is a passion project for us. It’s the first time we will ever get together with a complete cast and crew to create something truly terrifying. We’ve always enjoyed scaring people, pranking people, or just getting a reaction in some way. It makes life a little less serious, and a lot more fun.

We are most excited to move forward with our plans of leaving our day jobs and going 100% all-in on 2100films. With the right amount of hard work, consistency, and diligence – anything is possible. We cannot wait to share our films, events, and concepts with the horror world to endlessly enjoy.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The most important qualities and skills that we share is probably just our will to never give up. There have been countless times in our lives that we’ve been deterred, scared, envious, jealous, anxious… you name it.

Every day, we persist through it all, together. It is what makes owning a company so much more than what it is.

Advice? My advice is to do just that. Stay persistent, and don’t ever let somebody tell you how to run the show. This is your show. From birth, to death… this is your show. Make it count. Enjoy every single minute of it. Embrace the failure, the uncertainty, and the fear. There is a reason that you’re feeling these things as you get closer to your goal.

Find it within yourself to get out of your comfort zone. Take the move, show up to the audition, film yourself in public. The world is your playground…. go play.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

We are currently looking for a couple investors to help fund specific parts of our fast-growing production company.

Friday Night Frights: Our horror-curated film festival that premieres in LA every year.

2100films Business: The business and strategic marketing growth for the media.

The Face: Our first feature film. We’re looking for executive producers to come on board, and investors that really enjoy the art of HORROR filmmaking.

These people will be granted an equity stake of our company, alongside many other perks and ROI strategies.

2100films is just getting started.
