Meet Olivia Ayanruoh

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Olivia Ayanruoh. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Olivia, thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.

My generosity comes from the realization that we are all one. I see myself in every single person that I come across, just in a different stage in their evolution. One day I woke up and felt this emense responsibility to find a way to unite, inspire, and uplift. My parents always taught me to be selfless and considerate. I am also a cancer and very emotional so I can often feel the energy of others. I always want positive energy to be associated with me and everything I create. To me, there is no better privilege than being of service.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I have always been an explorer and roamer. When I was younger, I chose to spend my money on travel so I have always had this interest to experience that which is outside of my everyday environment. The best part of building a lifestyle accessories brand is that I get to design products that I would love to have on my explorations. I always strive to bring innovative products that motivate and inspire through the small details. I also launched the wanderlust club which is a wellness brand that focuses on the internal exploration. That was incredibly important to me. We launched in LA and couldn’t be more excited to continue to serve our community in this way.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

The most imporant thing to remember along your journey is your vision. Your mind has to visulaize where you want to be before it materializes in physcial reality which isn’t easy. It’s also important for you to have some knowledge in every part of the business so that even when you do eventually outsource, you know what is going on. Lastly, I would say to start and build a community early. Showcase the everyday person using your product or service because everyone wants to see someone relatable.

How would you describe your ideal client?

Our ideal client is someone who doesn’t necessarily like the mundane. They can be explorers who love adventure and travel, but also the person who loves being active and finding new places in their own backyard.
