We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Chloe Choe. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Chloe below.
Chloe, thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with us today. We’re excited to dive into your story and your work, but first let’s start with a broader topic that might be stopping many of our readers from pursuing their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. How have you managed to persist despite haters and nay-sayers that inevitably follow folks who are doing something unique, special or off the beaten path?
I remind myself that negativity and hate often stem from jealousy or insecurities, and they’re not a reflection of my worth or potential. I stay grounded by focusing on my goals and surrounding myself with supportive and kind people who uplift me. I also choose to respond to others with kindness, even when they’re critical, because it shows strength and helps me rise above the negativity. At the end of the day, staying true to myself and leading with compassion is the best way to keep moving forward.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Working as a flight attendant and Korean speaker gave me the incredible opportunity to connect with people and be part of their journeys in a meaningful way.
These three qualities were most impactful in my journey as an entrepreneur:
1. Empathy and Emotional Intelligence
Being able to understand and connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds was essential. As a flight attendant, every passenger had a unique story or need, and showing genuine care created trust and comfort. For those starting out, practice active listening and put yourself in others’ shoes.
2. Adaptability and Problem-Solving
No two flights were the same, and unexpected situations were part of the job. Learning how to stay calm, think quickly, and adapt to changes was a skill I carried with me. My advice? Embrace challenges as opportunities to grow. Developing resilience and flexibility will make you stronger in any career or journey.
3. Cultural Awareness and Communication Skills
Working as a Korean speaker allowed me to bridge cultural gaps and share my heritage while learning about others. It taught me the importance of clear communication and mutual respect. For beginners, I’d recommend immersing yourself in different cultures and practicing effective, respectful communication.
To anyone early in their journey, my advice is to stay curious and open-minded. Seek out experiences that challenge you, build relationships, and always strive to learn.
How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I’m always looking for investors or mentors who share a vision of growth, creativity, and impact to collaborate with. I’m particularly interested in connecting with individuals who have expertise in real estate, Airbnb hosting, Korean skincare, or personal care products. Whether you’re an experienced investor looking to grow your portfolio or a mentor with valuable insights to share, I believe collaboration can lead to incredible opportunities.
If you’re someone who values innovation, cultural exchange, and building meaningful relationships, I’d love to hear from you. You can connect with me directly through my social media (@chloechoe_INC) or email ([email protected])
