Meet J. Rosemarie Francis

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to J. Rosemarie Francis. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

J. Rosemarie, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

My optimism comes from faith in Christ Jesus. I’m certain that I can depend on God my father.

So I know I’m not alone and I don’t have to do everything alone.

I believe and have faith in a God who loves me so I try to live in the moment and let him take care of the future

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

In a nutshell, I create content online. I’m the creator and host of 3 podcasts and blogger.

But the what thrills me the most is helping others achieve their goals — especially aspiring podcasters and solo moms.

I’m iny element when I’m mentoring others or interviewing a total stranger on my podcasts.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Empathy and resilience play a huge role in what I do.

Treat others how you want o be treated.

Don’t give up just because it’s hard.

I learned recently that if I treat my life like I’m riding on a bus it will be more difficult than if I remember I’m in a car and the driver.

Finally, when you live in the moment with authenticity you give yourself the capacity to learn and grow from your experience.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed, I take a mental step back and try to determine what exactly is going on. Am I tired or is there something I’m missing?

If I can’t find the answer but I still feel overwhelmed then I pull out my journal and write about what I’m feeling. My journal is a friend I can talk to about anything.

When I’m stressed I read to take my mind off the current stressors. Or I do deep breathing, meditation and/or bounce on my feet til I feel better.
