Najee, thank you so much for joining us and offering your lessons and wisdom for our readers. One of the things we most admire about you is your generosity and so we’d love if you could talk to us about where you think your generosity comes from.
Ironically it comes from not having. I have always been a generous person but nothing enforces my need to give more than knowing what it feels like to not have — or to go without . I like to remind myself that holding on to extra will not give me more & will not fulfill my purpose – if I have it to give – I must . That’s how I move , that’s how I want everyone around me to move

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
The most exciting thing about me is my need to forge a path of individuality in a world that tries to constantly box me in. I started as a student from New York City on the pre-law track but I quickly fell in love with Music in grade school and continue to work on my talents throughout college when I finished my bachelors degree in 2018 I decided to take a year off to study for the LSAT during that year off a lot change for me because I learned to song-write, I was struggling with my mental health and weight And when the ball dropped in 2020 Covid followed shortly after. covid was a huge deciding factor for me to follow my dreams. It was enough for me to see that a pandemic could take away everything’s worth living for so I Decided to just live for me and my dreams . My people matter to me the most – I just wanna make art and feel love , that’s the most exciting life I can lead . In the future look for my brand line to drop with useful household items as well as a merchandise line along with my self help book for young adults ! ‘Rayne Drops Forever’ for real!
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Determination , Writing skills, & Emotional intelligence. These three qualities are what make me an amazing artist , my writing skills help me form songs and create stories to tell my listeners. The emotional intelligence gave me the want to communicate effectively through art and determination keeps me going when things seem weary or dry. My advice is figure out your strong qualities and make them work for your journey !
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
Yes always! I hear networking up is cool but I’m really interested in collaborating with my peers . Other stylist , artist producers who want to build a team of like minded individuals. That’s a dream of mine
