SkaDanko , thank you so much for joining us. You are such a positive person and it’s something we really admire and so we wanted to start by asking you where you think your optimism comes from?

My optimism comes from the most inner child like mind frame inside my brain. The most expressive ways I can find my way of being my creative self is playing my guitar.
I find a sense of familiarity when I think of my family or a past loved one whom I dealt with in recent years of doing music or being in the studio with my best friends. It comes a time when a man/woman must find what is his/hers ” deepest desires” not through televised programming but what is the first thought on his/ her mind when they wake up from a slumber. What is your drive for today ?
What is it that fuels you for the next week coming and months and years to come? Once you find that drive nothing else matters in a sense of not being considerate to others but to contribute to what’s going on around you. ❌⭕❌⭕

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I make music. It’s a part of me. I separated myself from being in the publics view or the eye of our community to bring in a different atmosphere into my music. So I love playing my guitar and actually for a first time in life I’m happy that I’m making money off my streams.
So there is someone or a group or if I use the British term ( lot) that is loving my music down to a T. Lets drink up SkaDanko XOXO.
I created a Bond that is not cohesive but more like covalent so that I can not be without my guitar. I call myself an ❌⭕❌⭕ Artist XOXO to bring more love and charismatic attitude to the world and universe of RocknRoll. So that everyone is loved. So the Brand Which is my Stage Name you can learn ways of being in tune to one another and find whats deep within you with my music whether it being a happy or sad feeling. So I am making the best of it ” SkaDanko XOXO” so I got this email from your partners from ( Canvas Magazine) to be a part of the partners sharing content program. I would love to dig deeper in that. See what further outcome I can bring into this reality.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Three qualities I can lend to the view full eye of readers and others who listen to the music I make is
Love, Being Bold, and Everlasting.
So to say not bring your art in one’s ear that is forced but to listen to the quality of what’s being played.
My area of skills are not that vague but it’s intense because I feel like I have to be more in tune with what’s going on around me. That creates a different space for creatives to fulfill ones craft it’s what do you want out of music. What are you going to say and how your going to say it. Expressing ourselves through lyrics is not enough sometimes especially to the young developing minds of our generation. So being careful and illustrate something that everyone can enjoy and not just a certain crowd. Bunker down and stay hungry. Carry yourself so that you will meet people who will want to drive you. Not seeking light at the end of your tunnel. Almost act like you know nothing about music because the others are published and have been done it. So be ready for ” The To Do List” in Music in your own Journey. I love Raleigh North Carolina the Carolinas Are my stomping grounds.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

Finding my own way of expressing myself in playing my guitar. I feel so confident and even to rehearsing I still find myself making mistakes but that’s RocknRoll it’s not always going to be perfect. But you can Damn near try for that striving ability. Even down to my sound on using selective guitar strings that I love ” Music Man” ” Ernie Ball Strings” I dabbled with “Regular Slinky and Paradigm Slinky’s to Using Classic Power Slinky’s Now I feel my ultra sonic wave resonates using ” Power Slinky’s” using Ernie Ball Power Strings is like my ultimate love. I have a love for power chords and giving it a rhythmic taste of psychedelic waves into what I call a Superhero sound that term most of my favorite guitarist used for an overall way of expressing how I feel when I play. So I tend to make you feel like a superhero. Filled with love rage energy. That is what I’ve been focusing on for the past 12 months of life.
