Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Jenn Evans. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Jenn, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
When it came to finding my purpose, I realized it wasn’t something that just appeared overnight—it’s been a journey that becomes clearer as I grow older. At 24, I know I still have so much life to live and evolve, but the confidence I have in my purpose today comes from how long it has been on my mind and heart. It all started when I was 10 years old. I began to experience feelings of being left out, not feeling good enough, and even feeling forgettable, especially around classmates. Those moments shaped me—they made me daydream about becoming a girl who was unforgettable, someone who could walk into a room and leave a lasting impression.
That’s where the seed of my purpose was planted, and over the years, it grew. Through experiences that challenged and sometimes hurt me, I was constantly forced to reflect on who I wanted to become. I would spend nights imagining the qualities and skills that would not only make me a better person but also shape me into someone truly unique. By 14, I began actively practicing and nurturing these ideas—makeup, for instance, became a creative outlet and a tool for self-expression. I studied Jackie Aina’s tutorials religiously, not just to learn technique but because I admired how she used makeup as more than a way to look pretty. She enhanced her entire aura, commanding attention in a way that was magnetic yet authentic.
Every skill I’ve worked on since then has been guided by this deep desire to inspire others, particularly those who’ve ever felt overlooked, to embrace their uniqueness and own their power. My purpose is rooted in helping people see that they, too, can grow from the challenges they face and become the unforgettable version of themselves (aka the main character in their life) they’ve always dreamed of being.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
The tone of my career life right now is keep building and keep growing. I am currently a Solidcore coach, and I absolutely love it! Helping my clients—primarily women—become stronger physically and mentally brings me immense joy. Many of them are overcoming incredible challenges, from battling cancer to navigating mental health struggles, or recovering from accidents. They show up every week because those 50 minutes at Solidcore empower them to take on their days and weeks with renewed confidence and strength. Their resilience is incredibly inspiring, and it motivates me to give them 100 times the energy they bring. If they can show up for themselves, I can show up for them fully.
Fitness has always been a dream of mine since I was a kid, though I wasn’t always sure how I’d make it a reality. Then, in April 2024, I took my first Solidcore class and instantly fell in love—not just with the workout but with the person I became afterward. Now, being able to pour into others, help them feel seen, and make them feel special is something that holds a deep place in my heart.
Outside of coaching, I am also a full-time influencer—a dream that I’ve been building toward for years. My journey in social media started humbly with fun YouTube videos and silly Instagram posts back in 2016. From 2019 to 2022, I evolved into creating creative fashion edits, which ignited my passion for content creation. Through fashion, I discovered my love for providing value, which led me to create original series that are both educational and entertaining.
One of my proudest accomplishments is my series *“Not To Be A Hater…”* This series was born from my desire to turn negative fashion stereotypes into something positive and inclusive. Through it, I’ve helped my audience learn how to embrace their individuality and elevate their personal style. It’s been incredible to see the impact—girls discovering their unique essence, glowing with confidence, and sharing their journeys with me.
In just the past year alone, my platforms have grown beyond anything I could have imagined: from November 2024 to now, I’ve gained over 60,000 followers on TikTok and more than 40,000 on Instagram. Every day, I receive heartwarming messages and tagged videos of girls embracing themselves and shining in their own way.
I’m so excited to step fully into this influencer role and continue growing alongside my community—whom I lovingly call my “bookies.” My ultimate goal is to help each of them become the main character of their lives. Whether it’s through fitness, fashion, or self-discovery, I’m here to inspire, uplift, and cheer them on every step of the way.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Intentional Daydreaming: Daydreaming isn’t just zoning out—it’s a tool to visualize your goals and create a clear picture of what you want. The key is being intentional. Ask yourself, “Do these thoughts benefit me?” If they don’t, pivot to something that does. Your thoughts shape your actions and mindset, so use them wisely to fuel your dreams.
The Power of Saying No: Learning to say no is a game-changer when you’re focused on living your purpose. You only have 24 hours in a day, and if you spend all your time serving others’ needs, you’ll feel drained and disconnected from your own goals. Protect your time—fill your cup first. For example, I don’t take calls after 10 PM because that’s my time to decompress. It’s a small boundary, but it’s made a huge difference in my energy and focus. Saying no isn’t selfish—it’s self-respect.
Embracing Growth Through Action It’s easy to wait for the “perfect moment,” but real growth happens when you take action—even when things aren’t perfect. Start small, make mistakes, and learn as you go. For me, this looked like posting fun, imperfect content in the beginning and evolving through trial and error. Each step taught me something new, and those lessons built the foundation for who I am today. The sooner you start, the sooner you grow.
To close, maybe we can chat about your parents and what they did that was particularly impactful for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did for me was something some parents overlook: they wholeheartedly supported my dreams. Not once did they tell me I couldn’t pursue something I was passionate about. From enrolling me in dance classes at age 5 to cheering me on in soccer, modeling, acting school, and even a pageant that turned out to be a scam (a story for another day!), they never discouraged me. Instead, they saw the effort and heart I put into everything I tried, and that meant the world to me.
For anyone afraid their parents won’t support their dreams, my advice is simple: take action. Research your path, practice the necessary skills, and become so good at what you love that it’s undeniable. Actions speak louder than words—not just to your parents, but to yourself. Through the process, you’ll discover whether your dream is something you’re truly passionate about or just an idea you liked the thought of. Passion thrives in effort, and when you show up for your dream, others will too.
