We recently connected with Tristan Butler and have shared our conversation below.

Tristan, we’ve been so fortunate to work with so many incredible folks and one common thread we have seen is that those who have built amazing lives for themselves are also often the folks who are most generous. Where do you think your generosity comes from?

My generosity comes from my family background and upbringing. Growing up in a family where people would give the shirt off their back, you are bound to pick up those same character traits.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

I am a music manager and co owner of the clothing line New Wealth Society. The most exciting part of being music manager/entrepreneur is being creative and watching things come
Together that you have worked on. There’s something special about seeing something in your mind and seeing it come to fruition.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three skills or qualities that were most impactful in my journey are having Faith, Tough skin and a strong Mental state. My advice for others in the business I’m in or any industry is to make sure you keep your Faith first and foremost because when you have faith you pretty much everything you need and in the industry I’m in you definitely gotta have tough skin because you have to be able to take constructive criticism without being offended. When it comes down to your mental state you must have a strong mental to operate on the daily basis so my advice would be to make sure you watch what your taking in visually and physically.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

The most helpful person in my corner that has helped me overcome challenges and develop would have to be my client and business partner RoB J. Rob has definitely helped me in more ways than one. He always keeps a strong mental state and can help me keep going even when I don’t have the patience or energy to go forward and we do the same for each other that’s what makes us a great team.
