We were lucky to catch up with Garian Duval recently and have shared our conversation below.
Garian, so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.
I keep my creativity alive by continuing to find new outlets to be creative, which is much more simpler than it sounds. Last year I created two new series on my main Instagram page. One series is called “GMAN Eatzzz” where I review local Raleigh restaurants, and another series called “GMAN Goes too” which is for when i go to bars or clubs in the city. Both series have helped both my creativity and my page flourish with a new set of followers.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I consider what I do all around as being a creative. Whether it be my dancing videos or my new food series, I’m always doing something interesting to keep my followers entertained! More importantly, I like to keep my followers motivated. From the young age of 14, I started to learn about the power of influence and what it can do for others. I influence my followers to be positive and to believe in themselves.
There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
My three qualities include the following: Creative, Passionate, and Kind
The first word being creative because of my many outlets, whether it be my fragrance page or my main page, I’m always up to something new and interesting.
The second word being passionate because i bring a lot of passion to the things that I enjoy. This can be seen all over my Instagram pages, I use my passions to create genuine material.
The last word is kind because one of my best traits is my kindness. I believe that kindness is one of the most contagious things in the world. When you can show kindness in the heat of negativity, it promotes others to be kind.
For those in the influencer journey early, just start with things that you are passionate about. Everything else will fall into play.
How would you describe your ideal client?
There is not any ideal clients that I desire, I seek those with open minds and those that want help with establishing their own ideas or want some of ideas of my own. Whether it be choreography, modeling, fragrances, performing, or photography, I have a wide diaspora of outlets that I can help bring out within anyone’s ideas. More importantly, I can help utilize your ideas into something special. All of my clients have had nothing short of great things to say about what I have brought to the table, and they all come from many different businesses from fragrances to dancing to singing.
