Meet Tony Kerrnaja

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tony Kerrnaja. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Tony , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

Having been an entrepreneur for 13 years, resilience has become second nature. Over the years, I’ve learned that being an entrepreneur often means being the person who has to solve the problem when there’s no one else in the company who can, and often no budget to hire outside help. This forces you to develop a problem-solving mindset and an unwavering determination to move forward, no matter the challenge. Every obstacle becomes an opportunity to learn, adapt, and grow, which is where my resilience truly comes from.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

I’m the founder and operator of Corporate Coworking, and I’m incredibly passionate about the coworking industry. I love collaborating with and working alongside other entrepreneurs who, like me, are pursuing their dreams. One of the most exciting aspects of this journey is being surrounded by individuals who are at different stages of turning their visions into reality.

Interestingly, opening a coworking space wasn’t always my dream. But once I discovered the concept of coworking and saw how it fosters collaboration and innovation, it quickly became a passion of mine. Today, I manage the day-to-day operations of Corporate Coworking, continually educating myself about the industry’s evolution and exploring how new technologies can enhance both our operations and the customer experience. I’m deeply committed to growing awareness of the coworking industry while also building our brand.

We pride ourselves on cultivating a close-knit community. Fostering that sense of connection and getting to know the incredible people who choose to work with us is at the heart of what I do. It’s not just about providing a workspace; it’s about building relationships and creating an environment where people thrive.

Looking ahead, I’m thrilled to announce that we’re expanding! Our second location is set to open in Henderson, Nevada, in late June 2025. My vision is to grow Corporate Coworking into a brand that supports entrepreneurs across the nation and maybe even around the world. I hope to establish Corporate Coworking as the go-to coworking space in Las Vegas and, ultimately, one of the most recognized coworking brands globally.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back on my journey so far, three qualities within myself have been absolutely pivotal: perseverance, creativity, and hospitality.

1. Perseverance: Entrepreneurship is full of challenges, from hearing ‘no’ more often than ‘yes’ to figuring out how to make things happen when the odds seem stacked against you. Having an endless amount of optimism and the determination to push through those moments has been crucial in keeping my vision alive.

2. Creativity: Especially in the early stages, when resources and experience may be limited, creativity becomes essential. You have to think outside the box to solve problems, market your business, and make things work with what you have. This quality has been a game-changer for me as I navigated the challenges of building my business.

3. Hospitality: In the coworking industry, creating a welcoming and comfortable environment is everything. People want to feel valued and at ease in the spaces where they work. I’ve made it a priority to foster that sense of comfort and connection in both my facilities and the way we operate daily.

For those just starting out—whether in coworking or entrepreneurship in general—my advice is to take the time for self-reflection. Understand what you’re naturally good at and lean into those strengths. Focus on what you do best and let that guide your journey.

For the areas where you feel less confident, don’t hesitate to invest time in learning. Read, take courses, and most importantly, ask for help when you need it. No one succeeds alone, and seeking support or collaboration can make a huge difference. The journey is as much about personal growth as it is about building a successful business

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

I’m fortunate to say that many people have played a pivotal role in helping me get to where I am today. My parents set the foundation by making the courageous decision to leave everything and everyone they knew to bring our family to the United States, giving us opportunities they never had. My sisters always made me feel like I was capable of achieving anything, and my brother not only believed in my vision but also invested in the company, helping us get our space up and running.

And, of course, my wife has been my rock for the past 15 years. She has supported me in every way imaginable and taught me to strive to be the best version of myself as a friend, a brother, a son, a husband, and a business owner. Her unwavering encouragement and belief in me have been instrumental in my success.

Having such incredible people by my side has been pivotal in my success. Their belief in me, support, and guidance have shaped who I am today and continue to inspire me to push forward.”
