Meet Cecilia Franco

We were lucky to catch up with Cecilia Franco recently and have shared our conversation below.

Cecilia , thank you so much for taking the time to share your lessons learned with us and we’re sure your wisdom will help many. So, one question that comes up often and that we’re hoping you can shed some light on is keeping creativity alive over long stretches – how do you keep your creativity alive?

To keep my creativity alive, I draw inspiration from the world around me. Nature plays a huge role, traveling and visiting botanical gardens is one of my favorite ways to connect with beauty and capture unique photographs . I also find new places, everyday moments, and platforms like Pinterest invaluable for sparking fresh ideas and building mood boards. Taking breaks and prioritizing self-care is essential for me because a clear and refreshed mind is where the best ideas are born. When it comes to photography, I let my mood guide me, allowing my emotions to shape the story I want to tell. Above all, staying curious and continuously learning keeps my creativity thriving, it’s all about feeding that spark and letting it grow.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

Im Cecilia Franco, better known as ‘This is Cecy.’ I’m a lifestyle content creator and photographer based in South Florida, where I live with my mini schnauzer, Charlie, who often adds a little charm to my content. My journey began with a passion for creating content, and as I learned more, I found myself drawn to photography, capturing the beauty in everyday moments. Over the years, I’ve built a career that blends my love for creativity with the opportunity to collaborate with incredible brands on social media.

Photography is the foundation of my work and what I’m most passionate about. I specialize in crafting visually striking content that highlights the details others might overlook, whether it’s the perfect lighting, composition, or colors that bring an image to life. My goal is always to create high-quality, aesthetically pleasing visuals that resonate with my audience and showcase products in the most authentic and beautiful way possible.

Recently, I’ve had the privilege of working with iconic brands like Victoria’s Secret, Fabletics, Batiste, Vital Proteins, Sawgrass Malls and YSL Beauty. These partnerships reflect my dedication to producing content that’s not only visually impactful but also connects with my audience on a personal level. Beyond that, I’m always exploring new creative ideas and looking for ways to refine my photography and content skills.

At the heart of my work is a commitment to quality, creativity, and authenticity. Whether I’m behind the camera or creating lifestyle content, I take pride in every detail, and I’m grateful to share my vision with a growing community that shares my passion for beauty, health and creativity.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have been most impactful in my journey are creativity, adaptability, and persistence.

Creativity: This is the foundation of everything I do, whether it’s photography or content creation. To develop creativity, I recommend staying curious and constantly seeking inspiration in unexpected places—whether it’s nature, trying new activities, or exploring different cultures. Don’t be afraid to experiment and push the boundaries of your work. Creativity thrives when you step out of your comfort zone and explore the unfamiliar.

Adaptability : The digital world is always evolving, and learning to adapt has been key to staying relevant and growing my community. It’s important to be open to change, whether it’s new platforms, trends, or technology. My advice is to keep learning, take online courses, follow industry leaders, and experiment with new tools and platforms. The ability to pivot quickly and adjust to new trends is what helps you stay ahead.

Persistence : The road hasn’t always been easy, but persistence has kept me going through challenges. There will always be setbacks, but staying committed to your goals and not giving up when things get tough is what separates those who succeed from those who don’t. My advice is to stay focused, celebrate small wins along the way, and trust that hard work pays off in the long run.

For anyone starting their journey, don’t rush the process. Develop these qualities slowly, and remember that growth takes time. The most important thing is to stay true to yourself and keep pushing forward, even when it feels tough. Success isn’t instant, it’s the result of dedication and consistent effort.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

When I feel overwhelmed, I tend to shut myself off from the world. It’s not the best coping mechanism, but it’s something I’m actively working on improving. I’ve realized that taking time to pause and reset is important, but I’m learning to balance that with maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I also focus on self-care, like taking walks with Charlie or going to the gym, to help clear my mind and regain perspective. Recognizing that it’s okay to ask for help or take a step back is key to managing those moments. It’s all about finding a healthy balance and being kind to myself during tough times.
