Meet Ahmed Nassar

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Ahmed Nassar a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Ahmed with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

My work ethic comes from a mix of my upbringing and my passion for bartending. I’ve always been taught that if you’re going to do something, you give it your best. This job isn’t just about mixing drinks for me; it’s about creating memorable experiences. I’m driven by the satisfaction of making each event special and constantly improving my craft. I genuinely love what I do, so putting in the effort feels natural—it’s part of giving clients the best experience possible.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I’ve spent the last decade as a private bartender, and for me, it’s all about creating unique, memorable experiences. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, or corporate event, I craft personalized cocktails that reflect each client’s style and taste. What excites me most is the connection I get to make with people during their special moments, and the creativity involved in mixology keeps me inspired.

Right now, I’m expanding my services to the Tampa Bay Area, focusing on interactive experiences like private mixology classes. It’s a great way for guests to learn the art of cocktail making while having fun. With Tipsy Jager, it’s not just about drinks; it’s about offering a high-quality, customized experience that exceeds expectations.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three most impactful qualities for me have been adaptability, strong communication skills, and being open to criticism. The private bartending world is unpredictable, so staying flexible and ready for anything is crucial. My advice: embrace the unexpected and stay calm under pressure. Being able to listen to clients and understand their needs has been key to delivering a great experience. Whether it’s in person or behind the scenes, clear communication makes all the difference. Accepting feedback and using it to improve has helped me grow. My advice: don’t take criticism personally—use it as an opportunity to refine your skills.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?

Absolutely, I’m always open to collaborating with like-minded individuals and businesses. I’m particularly interested in partnering with event planners, venue owners, and other creatives in the hospitality industry who share a passion for providing unique, high-quality experiences. If you’re someone who values creativity, attention to detail, and providing exceptional service, I’d love to connect! You can reach out to me through my social media—let’s chat about how we can create something special together.
