Meet Julivia Christa Jean-louis

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Julivia Christa Jean-louis. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Julivia Christa, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

My purpose found me. Which is something I’ve been on a mission to spread awareness on. After surviving near death experience and suicide attempt life became meaningless for me. In fact, after battling depression ptsd I didn’t care to accomplish or become successful in any way. I surfaced beneath what people labor rock bottom and I found God and God gave me an identity which birthed purpose. Glory be unto Jesus Christ who loves not just me but us all. Just when I thought I was unworthy God revealed that I am his child and saved me from self destruction.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

On a professional note, I work full time in Nursing, as an NA in surgical onocolgy. I am a full time Pro Makeup Artist, specializing in bridal artistry. A published author of “Honey Be Healed”. I do ghost writing as well, for books or brand marketing. A digital creator, and influencer. I work part time with a non profit called What I Wish I Knew Foundation helping guide the community and youth through life transitions in all aspects. We host exhibits and events to showcase our skills in order to create a sense of direction for the younger generations to come. We hosted a conflict resolution tour in 2024 to help cease the gun violence in Philadelphia. We host The Power Of Community Conference each year to raise awareness and support for the community upbringing. In the year of 2022 I hosted my first woman empowerment event, bringing woman together to help them achieve their goals and dreams and aspirations as well as spreading awareness on mental health. My God-given optimism helped me to develop skills and mindset coaching so my platform breaths, healthy mind, healthy body , healthy living.. Living out answered prayers and I can save faith in God is what brought me this far.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

There’s a quote that I live by and I would like to share it. “ Oh god, to reach the point of death only to realize that you never lived. Only to realize that you’ve never scraped the surface of your potential. “
Henry David Thoreau

Great question I would say, writing, digital creativity, and artistry. Sometimes I think back, and I realize that my future was destined for me. All I had to do was believe, in myself first and God. To trust that things would fall into place. I was always aware of these gifts that God gave me, but I wasn’t always confident so that’s something that God had to help me develop: a sense of self-confidence. To add to that, knowing that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me really brought me to a place where now people view me as an inspiration simply because I move with faith. I’m just a girl from West Germany, who had dreams just like anyone else. Some advice that I would give for those early on in their journey would be to be consistent because perfection comes later. You don’t need to have all the answers. You certainly don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to be moving forward and someway somehow God will Bless you and open doors for you but you must not give up. There’s no point in giving up because there’s nothing average about you or your life and you have yet to imagine how good life can get so you might as well strive for the best of the best. Some of us have the gift to inspire some of us have gifts of teaching or to encourage or entertain, to educate ect. So, I sincerely implore you to come to terms with your calling because it won’t stop calling. – honey be healed –

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

The art of being still in order to opt out of survival mode. Surviving a near of experience and facing depression and suicidal ideation put me in a state of survival mentally physically and emotionally. In my mind, I thought that that was healthy. I figured that if I continuously set goals, execute repeat that I would never go back to self-. destruct again… well I was wrong. As an entrepreneur, I by default developed the habit of always being on a go, that hustle everyday, or no days off mindset! When this mindset can only create a life that leads to destruction eventually. Interesting enough there’s been many times where I felt like God was trying to slow me down, but I couldn’t hear or see the signs clearly so I just took it as nothing. However, this is a very important message because this is something that I learned over in the past year and there is so much power in being still because that’s when God can speak to you and show you things the most! This is to create a smooth path and structure for your goals. Listen, I get it, We all have families, careers, hobbies, friends, and things that were constantly working towards, but we have to remember that we are human and we require real rest, real quiet time, or downtime however you see fit. In
order to put our best foot forward! I will consider this a challenge that I’m currently facing because I have yet to master this, but I know someday that day will come.
