Hi Mai, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
3ways of going about this, 1- surrounding myself with doer’s, people I admire and respect, 2- knowledge, I become almost obsessed with a subject/skill/ or concept and I study it, research it, get continued education about it and practice it until I can understand it and deliver results. 3- fake it till you make it; this one doesn’t apply for everything But it some cases it helps! Also; not being afraid of failure, you learn, and get the experience which makes you grow!

I’m absolutely passionate about empowering others through hair! I love boosting people’s confidence by making them feel beautiful, and giving my clients their dream hair
At the moment, I split my time between working behind the chair, growing and expanding our salon team, creating content, educating fellow stylists, and of course enjoying life with my family!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Within the beauty industry; 1- continued education, 2- assistanting someone who can provide mentorship and support and lastly putting yourself out there… word of mouth is still the best referral!

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
